Stop contradicting yourself.

Btw, next time leave your name when u neg rep someone.

Alucard, if you’re going to take quotes out of context, you might at least consider fixing the punctuation.

Contradict? Wow.

I’m at loss. You took two separate posts, referring to two different things, take out words and then try to use it against me. Nice.

…and no I didn’t neg you.

Blame yourself for that.

jiyuna man, I’ve been totally trying to join your ranked games and play your Ragna.

I’ll probably catch you whenever you’re playing MDK.

Sure you didn’t, doesn’t matter tho. And yeah totally different things. Right. I guess we wasn’t having a discussion on Nu.

[SARCASM]Welp, looks like I found my new main.[/SARCASM]

Well, if you need proof, I shouldn’t be able to neg you twice.

I will neg you now.

…and yes, we were talking about Nu, the two posts were in different contexts.

Keep complaining about Nu. It’s all the rage. Complain about Gat, complain about everything.

Thanks. I’ll remind you to neg rep me again sometime in the future. I prefer red anyways. Well, Since you’re done contradicting yourself, I’m done here.

Oh? Guess you’re not done contradicting yourself. I’m not in the mood to break it down for you, so I won’t. Read the discussion again, or continue to be in blissful ignorance. I’m done with this conversation.

Everyone in the red, always prefers red.

What a coincidence.

…and I see that both players CAN’T play smart. What a world we live in.

Ok, most of those are using 100% bar to do 75% damage. I don’t know what you are trying to say in this post.

Nu is top because she is able to play a strong keep away against the cast, not because of some hard as hell 100% meter combos.

I always laugh at people that look at tier lists as the end all on who will win matchups. Look at Mike Z at the AI tourney. He did extremely well as Tager. Not because the matchups were in Tagers favor, but he played SMART. God forbid that you have to think.

Got done playing 3 hours of straight BlazBlue with friends that came over about 3 hours ago, pretty solid and I’ve convinced them that this is a good game to start playing. Gotta love beginners that Burst out of every situation, only to deal with the 1.5X extra damage afterwards

Also, this would be for any Rachel player, but what are some good strings you use? I used her for the first time today and tried to learn her traps and how to use wind, but I just wanted a heads up on what attacks to pressure with. A friend of mine is trying to learn her as well and wanted to give him some quick info before I link him the Rachel FAQ here.

It seems like people spend more time complaining about nu than playing her or learning the matchup.

I always laugh when people make these kinds of posts because they obviously have no god damn clue what they’re talking about.

And you would be right

There is just a lot of theory fighting that goes on. It is still too early to know what will happen. I could be 100% wrong and Nu could be banned by next year. The better player normally wins regardless of the matchup.

My Rachel is still super basic, but I got dem DVD strats

The BnB you should be using when starting out is 5BB > 5C+D > 5C (2nd hit) > 236B > 643216C (if you have Heat). In the corner, you can end with 214A, then do Baden Lily.

In terms of good attacks, 6A is Rachel’s defensive tool, and a really good anti-air. Just don’t get predictable with it. In the corner you have a myriad of options to use, but try to make use of j.2C > 5B (to cancel the whiff bounce). You can go into some pretty nasty stuff from that in the corner. For example, you can do (during corner blockstring) j.2C > j.214B > 3D > j.2C > 5B. Note that this is all during the first jump.

This is just a little bit to get you started, hope this helps (and is correct lol)

YEEEAAAAAHHHH [/CSI Miami]

I’ll let my buddy know about this ASAP.

Just wanted to give him a little push in the right direction to give him a good understanding of the game, and hopefully bring me some nice local comp.

Thanks man

Why not? If you get it baited, just do it again. And again. And again.

According to the frame data, Rachel can perfom fourteen 6a’s during the span of a normal character’s jump.

Hey so I dont know if anyone ever posted about this before but…

I just now fought a guy named Nieco-TATARI and beat him. Before the match, it showed his level at 40. After I won, his level was at 1 and I only got 100 points for winning. This isnt the first time this has happened. I dont remember the other player’s name but there has been a few times where I play someone who has a high level, win, and then it shows them at level 1 for points. Then if I see them again they are back to their full level. I even replayed one guy again and the 2nd time I got the full points.

Anyone else know about this? Is it a bug or are these guys like somehow doing some bullshit so that you dont get as many points cuz they are being bitches?

Actually, I do, because I happen to know how poorly that match up was played, but Nu won anyways. I really have NO idea why everyone looks at that video as if it’s the Holy Grail of “TIERS/MATCH UPS DONT EXIST, ITS ALL PLAYER SKILL” when it really isn’t. Not to discredit either player, but there were a lot of mistakes made due to inexperience (no good Tager player where Goryus is from shows).

If you want to see how stupid Nu vs Tager is, watch the following video.

How stupid this match up is is obvious in this video.
