Holy shit… the title update from today for BlazBlue improves the netcode SO much… I’m in Southern California and I played versus the same pals I’ve been playing pre-update (in Ohio and Chicago respectively) and now the connection is just as good as when I play my other socal friends!

AKSYS/ARC, you guys did an excellent job!

No longer does the connectiond/latency degrade as the match goes on, it is consistent after the initial synchronization.

Lobbies, spectators, passing your turn.

This is a fighting game with an excellent online experience.

Back on topic: Are they adding Unlimited modes for all characters in the same way they added Astrals for all characters?

AFAIK there’s only unlimited versions for Ragna, Rachel, V-13 and Hakumen (i.e. the characters you face as bosses in single player for story reasons).

They’re unlockable through normal play, but you can also buy them outright on the online store if you’re lazy. I doubt anybody here cares about that, but it amuses me to think of people buying them because they’re imba, going into ranked and yelling WTF I PAID MONEY GRRNGHGRGH.

I was there tonight for quite a few hours and only 2 guys sat down to play… Well 3 but the first guy played twice then kinda stormed off The other two though were really cool tho.

I don’t know about when most guys go to play but myself and a few friends are gonna drive up on friday to play. Granted it will be the second time I’ve played it and first for most of them.

2 questions:

1: I was jacked up with a ton of yardwork the other day when a SWEET youtube video/song for this song (done by some japanese composer JUST for this game, I think) got a link posted here, and I can’t find it now. Can anyone gimme a quote-link to it?

2: Also, any word on whether or not the ps3 version has a custom soundtrack feature? The ability to use any track in the game has been standard for a long time in the Guilty Gear series. I wanna use mp3s of other game soundtracks.
