thanks homey…
That cat chick(?) is getting me pretty pumped. Half screen insta-rush.
Wru delicious Rachel infoz
=(
What really interest me is the “drive” system. I wonder how those mechanics which are unique to each character will pan out ingame.
I definitely wanna know more about that.
Actually, could some translate the lower right corner of this small page?
http://www.blazblue.jp/images/trailer/bb_roketest_0613_01.pdf
That would be a short list of the drive abilities and what they do.
edit: Didn’t anybody from j-shoryuken go to either the Osaka or Tokyo locetest just a few days ago??
do a search in this thread for umgogo’s posts, he translated the other BlazBlue PDF that has movelists for the known characters.
Ragna’s "Soul Eater"
Attacks that drain the opponent’s energy and transfer it to Ragna; the amount is increased during the “Blood Kine/Kain” Distortion Drive (though I think that one constantly drains Ragna’s energy while active). BTW, during the BK, Ragna can perform his third DD, “Yami ni Kurawareru”, which does good damage and restores a significant amount (approximately 40%) of Ragna’s energy.
Jin’s "Reitou - Frostbite"
Attacks that freeze the opponent for a short period of time on contact. The freezing effect is limited to once per combo. Also, three of Jin’s special moves have “EX”/“Force Break” versions, which use 25% of the super meter and are performed with the D button. Apparently, these also freeze the opponent (I cannot say for certain if the “one freeze/combo” rule applies to these moves, but I assume it does).
Noel’s "Chain Revolver"
Chain combos all started from a dodge (?), used for pressure and combos. There are three “finishing” techniques that will end the CR sequence (and cannot be done as standalone moves).
Tager’s "Vortek Battler"
A current of magnetic power draws the opponent toward Tager, setting up for a command throw or close-range combo. I believe that one or two special moves can be cancelled into the VB.
Taokaka’s "Dancing Edge"
Quick flying claw attacks similar to Jon Talbain’s/Wolverine’s/Choi Bounge’s. Several options are available after launch (stop/repeat/cross-up, etc.).
Rachel’s "Sylphid"
Tornado projectile that can be aimed in different directions (?) and affects other projectiles. Used for space control.
If it’s as complex as GG, then I’m game for learning it. I came into GG wayyyy too late.
Many, MANY thanks umgogo

2nd vid:I can’t decide what I like more, Ragna’s default colors or the black colors.:lovin:
Yep…this video game is nice…I’ve seen it and it looks like a mix of Dot Hack Sign and Guilty Gear…It is cooooldbloooded:rock:
god…this game looks hot.
I honestly have nothing positive to say about a crossover of Battle Fantasia and anything except a trash can. That aside…
I’d definitely like a GG x BB game somewhere down the road (not to mention an HD iteration of GG, preferably with someone at ASW punching Daisuke in the back of the head every time he talks about story, and just loading up on characters/game play).
this game is steak sauce, and what’s really good with the damage on taeger’s D.Drive in the 3rd vid?!
It was done under special circumstances. Basically Noel was suffering from some form of def. penalty.
^o…i see
BlazBlue-gasm =o
I have to say, that is quite possibly the best super screen I’ve ever seen. Remenice to Tizoc, but so much prettier… This game is looking HOT! What’s going on with the OTG business?
Demon Dash:What do you mean?
He means the new wakeup system I think.
If you see the first vid (Tager vs Jin) jin wakes up in a very special way on the first round, it looks like MvC2. Tager also does that on the 3rd round but wakes up on another way
and about the vids…
BLAZ fucking BLUE!!! this game is so awesome I cant wait to play it
oh no
