The dude with a top hat will be a midget robot clone of Slash from Guns ‘n’ Roses.
You see, with the smaller starting roster they have to combine GG archetypes into single BB characters. Like,
Tager = Potemkin + Robo-Ky
Ragna = Sol + Chipp
Ice Dude = Ky + Johnny
Noel = Uhhhh…I-No plus…(no one wields guns in GG, shit…gotta pull something outta my ass) Dizzy! Yeah, that’s it!
From that pic it seems 5 males (if the character with hat is a man) and 5 females
So 10 Characters total…? Or are there going to be more?
Maybe the boss… (or the console version will have more characters)
Ten characters is usually a standard number for new ASW games, now-a-days.
HnK had 10, as will BASARA X. I dunno what it is about that number that makes it magical for ASW, but for a first release of a new series, that’s what we will see until new sequels/updates come along, and inevitably add new chars.
A better character for that would be Venom (if her chains are all projectiles) or Anji if most of the chain moves are close range.
Noel reminds me of Bridget because they were similar outfit.

Well think how complicated/unique ASW characters tend to be tho. It will take most of your brain power to figure out the system in general let alone master any of the characters for awhile. By the time you got about half of the roster or so down, there will undoubtedly be a revision to this with more characters. So considering we’re seeing 10 brand new characters within a new system we’ve never used, I’d say 10 is more than enough for now.

Hope they’ll reveal new characters soon! By now Jin and Noel caught my attention!
