Being part of the Illuminati…that sounds so…eh. I mean what for? She (supposedly) has everything she needs to battle shadaloo. I can’t think of a reason why she would side with them. Makes no sense.
I’m having a difficult time placing Juri in SF5’s story mainly because i kinda don’t know whats with the story…
So Ryu wants to fight of the satsui , Cammy wants to rescue the dolls, Nash wants to kill Bison and old man Bison wants to "drummroll " take over the world yet again.
So whats with Juri ? She wants to kill Bison that i know, she likes to toy around with Cammy or Chun , and might be interested to fight umh… Necalli ? But since Necalli is kinda built to be Ryu’s foe , he won’t be fighting Juri anytime soon.
I just hope her story won’t be as ridiculous as Laura’s… >.<
I doubt Juri will get the laura story treatment.
Juri being a part pf the Illuminati will give her waaaay more story potential. And that’s exactly what I want. So, I’m rooting for her being part of the Illuminati. She could get some FSE upgrades, she likes to have fun and thats what she’d be doing in the Illuminati, she way want to bring it down/fight against Shadoloo as she did with SIN. All that sounds way better than her just doing what she wants. But, again, I’d be cool with that too as long as Capcom does somthing interesting with it.

Yeah that’s one of the reasons why I’d like to see her joining the Illuminati as well… it can expand her role in the SF games and a lot of potential for other things in general. I also feel like the Illuminati side can be much stronger with her and Urien (and Nash, well probably because it’s not too clear what his role really is as of now).
Also playing Rashid’s story… to answer your question @FengShuiEnergy, he refers to this friend in the female form in the language of my game… soooooo yeah, it could Juri but I still dunno about this connection, something seems off about it (I guess the idea of Juri having friends is just awkward, unless if he was a friend of hers before she went to S.I.N?).
While that would be cool because Rashid is cool and would arguably give more depth to Juri’s story, my fear would be for her to become good if this is true, I want her to stay evil.
As long as it’s done correctly, then I guess it wouldn’t be too bad. But I’d definitely prefer her to stay a bad girl. The only fear I have with Juri at the moment is her gameplay and design. I NEED that FSE as VT!!!
Because being in Shadaloo puts her in a better position to kill Bison at a moment when he’s weakest.
And also allows her to try and take power for herself afterwards. Since revenge on Bison isn’t her ONLY objective. She’s also general purpose evil.

If S.I.N. is destroyed then I think it’s possible Juri is with the society. If what looked like a 4x4 motorcycle was Juri’s, and judging from her alternate costume, then someone must have provided it to her for her mission, I guess.
Got my PS3 stick working, so I can hardly wait for her to be released!

Your language? What do you mean? I don’t understand. I mean it’s a possibility, but it could also be some NPC. Although…he goes to great lengths to keep saying “My friend” all the time. In quotes…which is odd. I mean if this person wasn’t so important why would he not just say their name? Azm seems concerned with this “rescue” of his too. And Azm seems like a really chill guy. He’s friends with Gief after all. I mean why would he not show more expression when trying to rescue a friend of his master’s? Seems odd to me.
I wouldn’t say Juri is EVIL. But she ain’t no goodie goodie that’s for sure. I always labeled her as neutral. Her intentions are good (killing Bison) but how she does that business is “evil.” Know what I mean?
I never saw Juri as obsessing over power.
I wouldn’t want her to join shadaloo because it would be just like SFxT all over again… give me something different.
In portuguese the word “friend” can’t be used to both sexes, there’s one word to refer to males and a different one for females. Rashid says friend in the female form…

It’s pretty vague. Whose to say she won’t ditch it after the fall of shadaloo or whatever? And if for whatever reason she sides with the illumanti. What? She’s gona try and overthrow gill/urien? I don’t think so. Not her style. Her motive is no different from nash’s. Kill Bison. That’s it. Through any means necessary. But for all I know she could pull some 180 degree crap and be the true villain of SF5 and SF6. Who knows. Things are changing and with what little info there is to do with…Hell I could be completely wrong on all accounts. I just want this cinematic story I can get the story straight.

Concerning Rashids friend…it could be a doll. Hmmmm my possible suspects are Juri, a doll, some random NPC character.
Juri is an antiheroine character, she is looking for justice is her own way no matter if she hurt innocents in the process. She is not good but she isnt totally bad either she is in a gray zone. She remainds me a lot to Sasuke Uchiha.
It wouldn’t be rare if we see her joining the heroes as long as it help to accomplish her goal.
I have pondered about this, too. Is she an antihero? Not so bad? She will eventually turn over a new leaf? But then I remember she must be a villain because that’s the mandate Ono gave to the team when creating her.
Yeah she is the “evil” girl of the series so far. But with anything. That could change. I doubt it. but you never know.
