I’ll be honest I hate a lot of things about SFV Juri.

I just want her to just be a competent character at this point.

F**K why did they change her to the point where her essence is barely recognizable anymore.

Well, to this point they butchered pretty much everything regarding her gameplay, so why not go all in and ruin her theme as well ?

I swear, who ever designed Juri in SF 5 probably hated the character a lot or something. Nothing explains this level of change.

The gameplay and new design I can deal with, but can’t embrace…

  3. Her black and white bullshit (looks incomplete and ugly)
  4. Her story involvement (from having her own anime special and a main character to riding a bike and having no story involvement at all.)

I hate everything new about her excluding her design and gameplay. Yeah, it’s not SFIV Juri but still fun.

You forgot to mention her shitty reveal trailer in some random convention and not EVO.
She even looked really weak in her showcase with combo fiend a Mike Ross. Combo fiend was like hey man let me win Im trying to make her look viable here, even her lame CA wiff with his combos and when he hit Mike with raw CA it did not damage :’(

It does the same damage as cammy’s. It’s stronger then ryu’s Ca without VT activated. Same with guile’s.

Even thats wrong, its the same as Cammy and Cammy is very straight forword very diferent from Juri. At least her technique should be 4 and I dont see her movility being 5 at all.

Story mode Juri is bottom half for sure, and likely bottom 5. It will depend to how much they’ve changed her in a month, but there’s no reason to be optimistic. Her target combo still whiffs on crouching for fuck’s sake.

That plus the fact that she doesn’t have a medium-medium link means her damage from medium is shit. That’s a pretty big deal when Ryu/Ken/Nash/Chun/Karin deal 250 from a st.MP or cr.MP.
