Man they better not nerf her throw. She needs SOMETHING to help her open people up as is and a OH that leads to nothing isn’t going to do it. Rushdown Juri isn’t going to be rushing a lot of people down when they can just down-back you all day.
Edit: Oh yeah, add making her MP target combo late cancellable onto the wishlist.
I’m playing Juri in battle lounge with a friend, she’s FUCKING FUN. High damage, fast buttons and relentless pressure, especially in VT. I beat my friend’s Urien so many times with her.
Also her VS isn’t as bad as it looks; if charged it goes through fireballs and hits twice and both hits have a very big hitbox. You can just throw it on reaction against people who neutral jump and hit them.
I’m hoping her Hazanshu has some OH properties because as it is I don’t really see its purpose except getting in from far away. Maybe it goes over projectiles? I didn’t test that.
I got kicked out of SFV GD. These combos were done with the 100% completed Juri with working VT/VR/Gauges. Every other “combo” video is flawed.

no offense but your friend must suck either at SF or with Urien. most likely both assumptions are correct. theres no need to go on offense against her. just play D till Juri does something unsafe and punish her hard for it.
I feel like I’m the only one unconcerned with Juri not getting a fully invincible pinwheel. What’s wrong with just the ex version being fully invincible? The way I see it, that is perfect. You shouldn’t be needing the full invincibility frames for a reversal unless you are using it on wakeup or to interrupt someone’s blockstring. Well as we all know, that is an action that should only be used sparingly in a match. This is adequately covered with an ex version which is limited by the ex bars you have, whereas if all of her pinwheels were fully invincible (or even one non-ex version) it would be REALLY easy to become reliant on that dp thus opening yourself up to being easily baited.
That’s the way I see it at least. Though it really should be QCF+P instead of DP+K, but I think I can live with that too.
He’s Super Plat with FANG but he was picking Urien for the first time. Urien’s buttons are very slow and her V-Skill can fuck up charge characters since she crosses up.
I also discovered that if you tap MP+MK again you can cancel the V-Skill during the run.
@OceanSalt did you inform him the only thing Juri can do damage wise is 60 damage from single hit overhead?
-inform him that she doesnt have a command grab.
-that she cant chip damage anymore due to no fireball game.
-that she cant combo into/out of her overhead at any time.
-that none of her specials can force him out of crouch block.
-tell him to use a character he is familiar with.
after telling him all he really needs to do is turtle low till your Juri does something unsafe…then play him again and let us know how your matches faired for Juri.
