Maybe we could expect some big changes , i mean do you guys remember when they turned Bison’s normal dash into his vtrigger dash ? Everybody was like WTF,yet it happend.

Is umh…well,turning her vtrigger fireball into her baseline fireball too much to ask ? ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I agree that her FSE currently feels very underwhelming. For 3 bars you only get what is essentially a combo extending tool, and one that drains away very quickly once you do FSE cancels and Fuhajin specials. I am pretty envious of Chun since her v-trigger allows her to combo off of overheads like Juri used to be able to. Though really Chun has one of the most ridiculous v-triggers, at 2 bars she gets expanded offensive options for 20 odd seconds that change the pace of the fight, and the timer cannot be drained away any quicker by anything she does unlike a lot of other similar v-triggers e.g. Birdie, Karin.

I wouldn’t go so far as to cry “broken,” but I do feel that her v-trigger ignores the rules of SFV that everyone else has to follow. Sort of like how Ryu still has a good fireball zoning gaming in a game that says no to fireball zoning (though the list of weirdly good exceptions Ryu has is many, making me believe he is truly in a league of his own in this game).

But isn’t Ken the same way? Besides three bars.

Also, anybody off of muscle memory try to a combo ending with EX Senpusha (pinwheel) and get that new kick that seems like it doesn’t connect?

As you say it’s 3 bars, which makes a big difference. If it was me I would increase Chun’s v-trigger to 3 bars to reflect it’s current strength, or reduce its timer to keep it at 2 bars.

In the balancing update, Chun-Li’s V-Trigger will definitely receive some nerf. Either 3 bars or time expire increase. Also, I expect Juri’s V-Trigger to be tweaked so you can combo from overhead or maybe an increased Critical Art power when she’s ready for release, but if they made it 2 bars… =)

I’m gonna be laughing when all of this pre-release tech doesn’t work when she actually comes out.

I wouldn’t put it past them. Right now Juri and Urien feel like the most fun with how creative you can get with them, and I’m sure the reason is because they are not final yet. I expect them to be “balanced for SFV” on release, hence why I’m holding off on revealing too much Juri tech.

Juri is celebrating the fact people are finally starting to see the light.

i agree with Phoenix…pinwheel should be qcb again. them changing it is needlessly confusing. they coulda put Juri’s hazanshu inputs into the P buttons.

Chun li is ok she doesnt need to be nerfed or buffed, her v-trigger is perfect as it is, but I think Karin needs her V-Trigger to be buffed I mean it is just like Juri’s right now it only works as combo extender, hopefully this FSE will get some tweaks at release.

They really need to change one of her specials into a P special. I don’t care if they keep the dp motion, but if they can avoid a dp/qcf overlap, they should. There’s really no excuse for it, and I don’t care if it’s a kick move. Off the top of my head, Rose’s Spiral is a K special.

I’ve always loved red Juri. Are those screenshots in 4k? They seem really high quality.

I like the DP motion for Tensenrin and I hope it stays that way but yes it is an issue having a DP/QCF overlap I hope they move Tensenrin into a P special and make it a true reversal not just the EX move, after all they completly remove her zoning abilities.

Defult costume 1, 3, 4, 9 and 10 all look nice.
Story costume 1 and 10 look decent.

There are more reasons why.

His Vtrigger puts you closer to your opponent.
He is quicker in this state.
He can confirm from almost full screen into Vtrigger.

But that’s not the issue.

I really don’t care for Juris moves right now I still love her but I think I would be content if

1 She still had the Taunt and Counter Movement either in her normal arsenal or with Vtrigger.
2. All Fushin storable moves release fireballs
3. Bring Back divekick( I know someone said Capcom didn’t want linear something XYZ when Cammy, Rashid have these properties)
4. Give back SOME of her buttons the quick overhead and jD.HK

I only like 3, 9, and 10 for the default. The rest are shit. Who though magenta/lime green was a good idea?

The changes i want to her normals :

  • Make cr mp a reliable anti air again
  • Increase the hitbox of cr mk

Special changes :

  • senpusha ,return the same input command
  • Light fuhajin,full screen travel
  • Return of the dive kick ( that special had so much personality really, i loved how she laughed while kicking the enemy in the air ). She had it first, not Rashid.

Vskill - It would be cool if you could teleport back or change the direction of the teleport mid travel, or make it absorb one hit. As for now i don’t see this vskill to be very strong. You can react to it quite easily ( i got grabbed mid flight by the CPU once )

Starting to get used to some of her changes though,but she needs work regardless. From the combo videos i saw it seems that she needs to spend a lot of bar and needs high execution on some combos to achieve what some characters do with far less effort.
