I suspect in the future Cammy becomes Juri’s new partner. Because if the story was anything to go…cammy pretty much became her bitch (in laymen’s terms.) In another view cammy didn’t seem hostile around her anymore. Almost like she accepted Juri. I almost feel something is gona happen between chun and cammy in the not nice way.
Chun: Cammy…I’m sorry…but I’m bringing you in.
Cammy: why? Because of what happened in brazil? They were going to take decapre…I wasn’t going to allow that.
Chun: You attacked a member of the law…that is an offense…something I can’t ignore friend…or otherwise.
Cammy: I viewed you as a friend, a mentor someone to help me get through my tough times. But the dolls are important to me. Something you can NEVER understand.
Chun: Then you leave me no choice…
Okay then. But imo practicality/realism is a moot point for a Street Fighter game. Whether it’s practical or not, it doesn’t look good imo. Both the fact that it’s full torso and that the texture being similar to the rest of the suit. It’s not pleasing to the eye, contrast is a wonderful thing.
Yeah FSE mentioned it earlier. My dreams have been crushed at the prospect of an interesting tool outside of v-trigger. I’ve been plugging away at her thinking of how can open someone up, and I’m learning some interesting things here and there.
So after messing around with Juri a bit i’ve found that in FSE she has air combos off her target combo ‘mp, f hp’ that last hit can be canceled by a jump and you can only hit twice in the air, or you can hit once to put into a juggle state and do just about any special on the ground to finish the combo. Interesting, tried to look for setups or resets but couldn’t find any since the character just hits the ground, found no way to make them roll out of it into a non knock down state. But it does score a knockdown and opportunity for a meaty or throw mix up.
Also pc players a new release for the juri mod with fixed vtrigger is out. allowing for vtrigger cancel combos in training mode, However it’s still kinda busted in terms of you only get 1 charge off qcf k, after that you only get the charge kick every time, but useful for finding her links and doing vtrigger combos, as well as counter hit and meaty training.
Curses! I was all ready to move on from Juri after posting my next video, and finally get around to playing Balrog and Juri. Looks like I’m gonna be stuck in the lab yet lol.
I guess more there was something during the SFIV tournament.
Juri just does what she wants,I guess there happend something during the SFIV tournament that made Cammy trust Juri.
After all she took Juri over Chun.
What is if there Rival fight happend,but instead of fighting each other,Juri actualy helped Cammy and told her whats going on and where her friends are.
There was something and I want to know what.
The most logical thing is just that Juri does this,because she wants it.I seriously think she just likes Cammy.
Her Character story isn’t a help either.
I was hopping the story would clear things up and not throw more questions around.
Also Chun-Li is a bad friend.
Chun:“Hey Cammy,let them arrest your only family,pls be a nice girl! I’m sure you two will be happy if she comes out in 5-10 years.”
I think this will be my final tech post until Juri’s official release. I really need to go play the two characters that were officially released already lol. So without further ado…

V-Skill:
You are able to interrupt the V-Skill mid-dash by pressing MP+MK again.

My Verdict:
I was pretty wary with how Juri was going to turn out, but now I am pretty happy with the direction they have taken her. I’m going to miss her fireball zoning, but I know that’s not a game SFV wants to play, and tbh her current fireball game is very, very scary. Imagine Guile, but in place of full screen sonic booms you get in return better normals and throw range, while still having a DP, an air grab and no charging required. I think that’s a pretty damn good trade, and lets Juri have a scary fireball game while still playing by SFV’s rules.
In that scene, chun look confused, but it almost seemed as though chun was actually willing to turn against her. Almost though. It’s hard to say, but as I said before, Cammy made no hostile (or if she did it wasn’t very noticeable) actions towards Juri.
But there IS something there between them. I think it goes in line with their backstories even though they aren’t very similar.
Interesting, thanks for the insights. I’ll have to wait until I get my hands on her. I am still a little dumbfounded they took away her divekick. I suppose they want her vskill to be the replacement, but still.
so far i might actually like playing this version of juri more than her SF4 version, possibly even more fun than her SFxT version but its too early to say
Something I havent seen anyone to mention this time imo Juri’s ENG VA Jessica Straus sounds really good she beats her JP VA Eri Kitamura free, in SF4 my favorite was Eri but this time she sucks
