i’m more hype now that i’ve had a chance to kinda soak in the way her store system works i can dig it and i’m relieved you can still combo in fse…i bet theres gonna be some pretty sick tech in her future.

Not quite sure how I feel really, was probably the most hype about sf5 during her reveal, but not really a fan about some of the changes they’ve made to her specials. I really love her animations, and are probably the best in the game except CA. Whelp, still waiting on update so I guess we’ll see.
Cant play story mode for another 14 hours yet -_-

forward throw is godlike though. EAT HEEL NECKBREAKER BITCH!
Also V-reversal if blocked is only one kick. So definitely in line with others like mika where the full animation won’t play out if blocked.
Looks like a fully charged vskill is at least -17 on block (yikes). It also seems to be projectile invincible at some point during it.

With the initial hype wearing off, i see some major problems with Juri, at least for me. They got rid of a lot of stuff that i enjoyed about her.
I definitely liked the multiple fireball zoning part of her game. Kind of sad to see that it may be gone. That being said, she looks really awesome, and animates really well. I’ll be trying to make her work no matter what the new build is. 
fireball is still there without VT. But it’s the low version only she has now. FSE chain ability is still there though.
I expected change, it is after all a new game. Still can’t hide my saltyness though, i mean, i really loved her dive kick.But the moment i saw what Rashid’s dive kick looks like ,i was 99% sure Juri won’t have hers anymore.
Eh, I like her splits kick much better. L version looks + on block. Oh and she’s tied with necalli for biggest VT gain from her vskill whihc is 120 if near/fully charged vskill. 100 if you just let it rip without charging. I can kinda see why it’s -17 on block or worse.

Ok I just saw the ‘day -30 combos’ video in the other Juri thread and i’m liking what I see so far. Finally a video of a semi-competent Juri player. She has great hit confirms.

Needs to be active. But damn…Juri is AWESOME!!! It’s starting to lean towards her SFV self now. By the primes…she’s so…ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes!!!

It did for me. Linked into st.mp, cr.mk, st.mk etc etc. It links into all her M normals.
It’s a tough call for me right now. I’ve been messing around with Juri in story mode and will post my findings later in this thread. At the moment I think SFV Juri will be very good, but also very different from what I was expecting. It’s basically SFV Karin vs A3 Karin for me all over again.
