How is she supposed to use the FSE if she has no longer the FSE sherlock?
By that logic Cammy should have a Psycho Power V-Trigger,while her Psycho Blocker is locked by the Emiter in her head.
Thereās no evidence on either side of the table to say she does or doesnāt have the FSE. Itās argued āWell why does she have an eyepatch then?ā
Few reasons, a fondness for eyepatches, (she did have one before she got the FSE), capcom design choice, hiding the FSE, the FSE is no more.
Juriās FSE might had malfunctioned and she can only use it in short bursts of power. Maybe it looks weird and she has to hide it, maybe keeping the eyepatch on keeps it in control ( hey it works for Cyclops and his glasses ).
Plenty of ways they could work around her eyepatch while still having the FSE.
Why should she hide the FSE? The color adjusts to her other eye
Itās the same eyepatch she had in the OVA as Seth removed the FSE to fix it.
She was still just his guinea pig, she probably had to remove it in order to stay alive. Wouldnāt surpirse anyone if Seth gave that thing a short lifetime.
The most important thing is, that this character is much more interesting without something that drags all the attention away from her.
Lets be real the OVA did tell nothing about Juri outside that she is crazy. It was all about her eye.
All we know about her and what happend was from comics, what means Capcom failed. Her first appeareance was to much about her tool and not her. I seriously hope they noticed this and SFV will change things up.
The better question would be, what is Juris plan in SFV?
She looks like sheās collecting informations for someone and for some weird reasons keeps an eye on Cammy.
So what will she do? Someone here has a plan? Or is everyone to busy with eating their nails that her FSE will be there?

Who is she working for and why?Own interests?
Why does she collect informations about Operations Chains(what was hinted in Guiles Story)? Is it for herself or the organisation/person she is working for?(if sheās working for someone)

Iām not sure how to format this, so just bare with me.(this is based on what I know up to this point)
SF4:
Juri Worked for S.I.N, A subsidiary of shadaloo, Responsible for creating the Feng Shui Engine weapon.
Seth was the Leader of S.I.N until he was destroyed in SF4, then Juri presumed control of the organization.(Iām assuming she still has some sort of working relationship with Bison/Shadaloo)
S.I.Nās Base was destroyed.(Along with its research and Equipment for maintaining the Feng Shui Engine)
I think the baseās destruction was a major setback for Juriās original plan to destroy Bison and Shadoloo, so going into SFV sheās kind of scrambling.
SFV:
Juri is wearing her eyepatch, which makes me thinks the Feng Shui Engine is malfunctioning somehow.
Juri is first seen in London(With Shadaloo) after Vega fights Cammy in an attempt to retake Juni.(The timing of Juriās appearance made me think Sheās still working with shadaloo to some degree)
Juri is next seen in the remains of the destroyed S.I.N base. Her words, at least to me sounds like sheās in distress.(Because her eye?)
I think the reason why Juri is in the S.I.N base is because sheās looking for a way to repair the Feng Shui Engine. Ironically Juri has the same goals as Chun/Cammy/Guile, so maybe theyāll end up working to togther.
Anyways, Thatās all Iāve got right now.
- This is bullshit, and has been since the first time I heard it. They added the eyepatch for visual flare on VTrigger activation.
- If they do, Iām selling the game. I dont want her to be another āI was a bad guy but now I see the lightā convert. They did it to Cammy. They did it to Sagat.
I agree with XthA ( dude that name ! ) , i donāt want Juri to be come a āgood girlā, would take away a lot of her charm and kinda ruin the character, at least for me.
This Isnāt the first time we see Juri with her eyepatch, The last time we saw it was during the SSF4 Anime when Seth had the FSE removed for maintenance. There is no reason for her to be wearing the eyepatch if thereās nothing wrong with her eye. This isnāt about Juri becoming a āgood guyā, She Hates Bison just as much as everyone else and whether it be intentional or not Juri and Chun/Cammy/Guile are working towards the same thing.
Juri and FSE go together like clockwork. Iām a lover of visual powers and special eyes in anime (could anyone guess my favourite?) so I welcome it in Juri, my favourite Street Fighter character.
The FSE compliments her phycotic personality, like an untamed wild animal with power. And she likes that power. Plus, I want those 10 second killer combos with resets and baiting DPās to come back.
The comment about Juri becoming a āgood girlā is also pretty pointless.
Juri is neutral, she has a goal and she doesnāt care much, who is it she has to use to achive it.
She did this in IV already,Seth died in the end but not Bison,what was her goal that these two kill each other.
Juri is a sadist,but neither evil or good, she has her own goals.
She loves pain in any form, in SFxT she even says from time to time ākeep it on!ā if you hit her.
Adding a eyepatch for a visuel effect is a waste of ressources, learn to live with her not having the FSE anymore.
Why would she even spy on Cammy if not for her own interest?
Juri is not stupid(she also seems to have more interest in Cammy), she knows Cammy + Shadaloo = there is your way straight to Bison!
She also knows that with Cammys and Guiles help,she would be able to take Bison down.
If anyone thinks Juri is evil by design, theyāre wrong. Sheās neutral. She has her goal,she wants to achive it.And she doesnāt care whoās help she needs for this.
Even in SFxT was her goal to get Pandora to kill Bison,she even teamed up with Bison,cause she knew she will reach Pandora this way.
As I taught itās only about the eye and not the character.

Juri is not evil or neutral , she is chaotic neutral, just like Sylvanas Windrunner , basically the wildcard of the story.
However the bridge between that and another copy paste "good guy / girl " is small and it can change with a couple of dumb decisions story wise, so i would appreciate if they ignored that aspect completely and just let her do her own thing and do not ally her with anyone like Cammy or Chun Li.
Ugh, nobody is gonna want to see me writing about how much I love Juri and her design, personality, gameplay ect, weāve all done that since this thread started (a least six months ago). We now talk about gameplay and ideas. And even now this thread is starting to slow down a lot.

Iām not assuming anything. Iām just stating the fact that the vast majority of Juri fans want her FSE to be a part of her character. Everywhere I go (Twitch chat, GameFAQS, EventHubs, Reddit) everyone always says they hope she has FSE.
Maybe first footage of Juri/Urien in a trailer?
Iām only expecting a story mode release date. Iād cream my jeans for a Juri trailer =)
iām sure we are going to get a story mode trailer with a feature peek at the big 3.
