I’m digging this Miguel player although some of the cats on TZ aren’t. His wall carry game is so cold.
I guess he uses df1 sav uf3 for oki or something. I didnt know it keeps you in sav though D:< THE POSSIBILITIES.
Needs more miguel juggles! I only know of uf3 or 2? And df21 for starters. NEEDZ MOAR!
really easy and decent damage juggles that i started with
df12 df11 d1+2
^What? Why not just launch then do df4,1 df4,1 df2,2b! ff21? Why waste time with that juggle?!
or why not just do the df1~f,SAV df1, df41, df22 b!, df411 staple.
or if you’re bored and wanna feel cool, depending on your launcher you can do
uf4, 3_df2,1, df1: 1, 2, 4~f, SAV 2, dash df1, ff21
the 2nd is 1 less dmg, but it’s got some tricky timing and makes you feel like a badass.
He asked for something simple. I do other combos than that, But yea thats generally the staple.
that’s the only thing I sorta dislike with miguel, he doesn’t have alot of viable juggle variety. : /

So this is my first day playing Mig, like I woke up this morning went to training mode, read up a few tactics, and started playing-well after I customized him, of course.
So far, he’s alot of fun, I still haven’t gotten a grasps on his SAV stance, mostly I’ve gone into SAv after db+1, ws4, d+4,1+2f. and from there I either use df+2 or db+3 for oki mix-ups.
What are other useful SAV transitions. I’ve been seeing alot of priase for df+1 into SAV, but it feels very slow when the opponent is right in my face.
Anything off df1 mostly. Uf1/db3/b1+2. UF1 can hurt you though.
So is Miguel just not played that much? It seems this character thread and his own sub-furom on TZ doesn’t get alot of traffic, yet according to most tier lists, he’s usually upper-mid at best.
It’s also hard to find recent high level Mig play on youtube. I know Rain seemed to have switched to Bruce, and I haven’t much luck seeing alot of the Goonies vids.
Not that it matters, I love playing as Mig, but it’s hard to get tips on a lesser used character.
EDIT: Nevermind, just saw a tekken crash season 3 vid of the goonies’ Mig doing very well.
