I was in T.J. last week and couldn’t find any cheap fireworks over there - what ever happened to the good old days where you were able to buy a lot of stuff with $20?

If the Dodgers are playing this week, then Dodger stadium has fireworks after the game. If you never seen a Dodger game, 4th of July aint too shabby. Other places…hmm…I think something around the staples center might have something…
Let’s see…so Southtown, does anyone still play? JC and I went to Evo west, saw Warren there, and that’s about it. Does anyone still play? I wanna get a couple of matches in, and show y’all he A Groove King, Terry and Geese…complete with roll canceling! LOl…so yeah, maybe some of y’all want to get some matches in tomorrow? I know its 4th of July, but it dont have to be a whole day thing…anyways, that’s the only time I can do it, and we gotta find a good place to play, cuz FFA sucks. Regency. Sucks. Commerce Fun Center Sucks. Everywhere in LA the machines dont work, no sound or something is always up with the machines. The ONLY place I know is UCLA. Perfect controls, yet I know no one wants to play there cuz of parking…Anyways, y’all holla back

I don’t think UCLA is completely great, but then again, that might just be me since now I’m a console player. Nonetheless, I would say those are the best I’ve played on around this area. Shogo posted that he’s gonna try to put PS2 ports on the CvS2 H2H. If that goes down, that’ll be awesome. I feel like the only thing wrong with Regency is the sound. Whatever. Console anyone?

New News… Jae, Roger and Myself will be playing all night on Saturday night. Please call me so that we can all meet. Most likely it will be at Roger’s garage. Call me or Jae up so that we can play. Also, we like to play for money. If you’re up for it bring like $40 to bet. We usually bet by $1 or 2$ matches. If you want to bet more it’s up to you and the person playing you. So let’s play people!!!
Also, it looks like I’ll actually be able to go to Vegas!!! I have to speak to Maggie about this to see how our finances are looking, but I have already asked for the days off at work. Unfortunately, I probably won’t be able to get there 'till Friday night. That’s a bummer since I won’t be able to participate in the tournament. Regardless, the competition present will more than likely be enought to satisfy my appetite for the game. In any case, write back so that we may see who would like to go.
