My first MVC3 tournament was a blast! I learned alot. Why am I more proud of placing next to last place in Marvel than placing top 3 in Tekken?
Highlight of the weekend was beating Kensou in casuals and watching him get salty saying “Thats the scrubbiest shit I ever seen”. Welcome to playing me on even terms in 2d bitch!

Hey guys, new guy here looking to squeek into the scene. Was looking for some meetups and ‘scrub tuesdays’ sounds like it would be the best spot for me. Does anyone know if its still going on? And is the word ‘scrub’ in the title just lure people like me over there where I’ll get promptly bodied? Is it PS3 or xbox as I only have a PS3 fightstick.
Yes we still hold Scrub Tuesday. Usually there is a good mix of players, skill wise. Mostly everyone plays on 360, but people generally let others use their fightsticks if they aren’t playing.

At the Galleria. Tekken 6, A xbox 360 Super Street Fighter Arcade thing, MvC2 (2 large cabs, 1 small cab), In The Groove, DDR Extreme (down arrow is wonky on both sides), and DJ MAX Technika 2. and everything else your generic arcade has.

Blaz is at the galley but i think it is continuum shift it is located right next to tekken.

if Mahvel is MvC1 or MvC3…no I don’t think its there…there are 3 Marvel vs Capcom 2 Cabinets. the 2 large cabinets have adequate joysticks and buttons.

Just recovered from this weekend! The tournament was pretty hype. Marvel went down really smooth, at least during the top 16. Pool play the day before took forever.
Met a few new guys and I let them know about our weekly gettogethers and where to play. JTM needs to come out more too, and get more exposure.
Expect vids from showdown to pop up soon. And i know Monster’s recorded most of them when they streamed.

bought a ps3 recently… going to set it up tonight. The only game I have is ModNation Racers. I may break down and buy MvC2 on the psn network. Maybe ill buy MvC3 on that system as well, i dunno.
