good post to be taken seriously guys … the thing is TX back then from what I understand was on their way to becoming like Cali or a NY status or was but of course you have to look at it from the players point of view even though it can get old & stale…Most of the blame they say is on PZ even regarding the controversy with giving out SBO spots to favorites is some of the problem…you have to take account of TX players mindsets and other players abroad when they hear these kinds of stories…their are still players that dislike PZ alot here even outside TX and even when PZ has reached out it falls on many deaf ears b/c of the resentment of the past & of today…lets face it, Cali & NY on the other hand are consistent & generally more consistently hungry to get better & are more hype about there fighting games…they r more organized and have good reputations with the community & players also they have more coverage b/c of the work they put into it–they have consistent streams always up not like here where it is sporadic-- for instance at Comicpialooza the tournaments had no streams up at all-- at a $2000 pot guarantee tourney, really?–I question why not, as for the scrub talk-- I will say this I posted a reply about Portlands scene–they made a video to show their scene and I like there game mentality in getting ppl better in how they want everyone to get better, no one lagging behind–great attitude–
Anyways man, the only thing I can really say that can possibly gain some cred. back from the community for PZ–John should really have a press conference type of thing or forum of discussion to voice his sincerest apologizes to the players with open transparency, as well discuss misunderstanding for Johns defense–always two sides to every story–John needs to look at this not only from a business stand point but from a players stand point, maybe have a SRK wake up podcast w/Keits or whoever to clear up the resentment— just a thought
been busy and have just returned to srk but want to give a shout out to toan and fonzo. good shit repping dallas and establishing that the house of marvel dominates tx. i also would like to point out that it is not a good thing to threaten 17 yr olds. poor kid does not understand that “fuk you” are fighting words and may only have video games to release his sexual frustration. So please be kind to the weak in the future. i hope someone took abk money and proceeded to stating “yum yum” upon doing so. i would also like to commend the dfw marvel players on not being as salty and simpleminded as some houston players. wish i could have been there to enjoy the triumph and glory that you gladiators showed against such barbaric, gun playing, non double blocking, sexually frustrated, yum yum, shady, yet enjoyful people. hope to continue seeing some of you if i do decide to go back into cars instead of games.

I sometimes go on Sunday nights with Bagels to play some SF. It’s actually Magic Night but I still roll by sometimes to play.
