I’ll have a PS4 sometime in February when my financial priorities allow it. Would have it now but medical and college funds to deal with. It is what it is.
Let’s be honest there are games there. Resogun and Killzone alone spark my interest. Then there’s the 3rd parties but I don’t really care for any of them outside of maybe 2K14. But there’s a lot of promising shit coming out within a year for the console and I’d think many people who have a PS4 now is because of what’s coming and not just what’s already there.
It’s the main reason I’m pushed away from Vita despite the gold mine on Vita’s PS+, whereas 3DS has a lot of great games too, but A LOT MORE games coming like Smash Bros. And Zelda just to name a few.
Game consoles are a small investment with a long-term payoff. And besides, it’s not like next gen consoles are all you have to play games with once you jump in unless you actually got rid of your previous hardware like an idiot.
