Re: Police prank - His voice sounds kind of like Jim Nabors (of “Gomer Pyle” fame). Maybe it’s the echo doing that, but I keep expecting him to reply with things like “Well golllll-yy!”

Kotaku put up one of its typical, sensationalist clickbait articles on the subject of that Playroom stripping couple. Unfortunately, I’d expect Sony to respond, & disabling streaming for Playroom is logically the easiest solution. Enjoy it while it lasts, you guys.
Man, I’d hate to see them close something down with some much potential.
They should add a Parental Advisory message and an optional password system to enter the “Live from Playstation” streaming area, they can also add a “public” tab to help separate the camera streams and the gaming streams so they’re not all cluttered together.
A disable chat option would be cool too I guess.
Meh, this is 'Murica, where the ESRB ratings system is treated like serving suggestions for food (aka almost no one follows them). I’d be surprised if the kind of folks to get all bent out of shape over this could also be arsed to setup parental controls.

Well, I wouldn’t phrase it like that… but I agree; it’s very disappointing to see them do this to something that had so much potential. I suppose on some level they had to respond like this for business-legal reasons, but… ugh. To think something this neat didn’t even go a week before people started doing stupid crap with it and corporations had to start overreacting? It’s sad.
As a grown man I wouldn’t own any of these consoles without first having a PC in my home.
