I don’t understand why so many people want Sonic to be lonely and alone forever. Him having friends was never the problem; it was the unfocused gameplay that surrounded said friends.
They don’t want him to be lonely and alone forever, what they don’t want is more characters on top of the 20+ that ALREADY exist, and as you already said, the unfocused gameplay that comes as a result of that sometimes.

I’m against adding new characters. Sonic’s cast is big enough and many of them are underutilized. They need to use who they have.
I liked the shooting stages in Sonic Adventure 2. Sure, it wasn’t what you expected but it was fun.
Carnival Night Act 2 and Sandopolis Act 2 are the largest stages in 3K. Everytime I make a play through of that zone I"m usually around the above 7 minute or more mark.
Sand zone 2 isnt that long if yiu know exactly where ur going. As knuckles its even quicker as the parts where u have to wait for the sand you can just climb the walls.
Hell no, Sonic don’t need any more playable friends. Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles will suffice, thank you.

My friend’s uncle works at Sega and he says that you’ll be able to play a Sonic and Shadow and Knuckles and the final boss is Perfect Chaos combined with the final boss with the name that I don’t remember from Sonic Adventure 2 and that at the end of the game it will reveal that Sonic Adventure 3 will come out tin 2018

No instashielf. BOO! it rewarded skillful play, and if you were good with it you could maintain your momentum with it. Ie. if you were running full speed and you knew exactly where/when a badnick is, with perfect timing you can instashield through them. Especially those annoying ones with circle/spikes going around them.
