I feel like Shadow was inspired by Mighty and Silver was inspired by that weird robot hedgehog from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 GG/MS version.

Yes they do exist. There are even some people crazy enough to say Colors was somehow a worse game than 2006…
06 is fantastic for screwing around with glitches… The game is glitch city where just doing anything random will lead to some hilarious glitches.
Speaking of 2006, Watching Egoraptor and JonTron deal with ‘STOPPPP…ITS NO USE!!!’ was highly entertaining. I can’t wait till they get to Silver’s gameplay and the final story of this game.

Sonic 2 is so good. Better than 1 and 3&K easily. Fuck Metropolis zone though.
Sooooo much beta stuff left in Sonic 2. Would be nice if sega did a re-release of Sonic 2 with all those levels finished. Didn’t Genocide City Zone become Metropolis Zone Act 3? Then there was Hidden Place that was half finished, Wood Zone that was like half finished too.
So anyone get the Sonic collection on Steam two days ago? I was disappointed they only had Generations for $15. I brought that game in the last sale for $10.19. Sega must every be strip for cash
