The game was a mistake. The character is a far better antithesis to Sonic than either Metal Sonic or Knuckles ever was.

No the character was a mistake.
Then again Sonic Adventures 1 was a mistake

Also leave my boi Knuckles alone.

Was Metal Sonic ever an antithesis to Sonic? Metal didn’t get an actual character until Sonic Heroes.

:frowning: words hurt

I love Big.

The fuck is that, Omah Chao? (I am speaking Rhetorically, I know what it is unfortunately).

They all are annoying. Specially Big

Now Sticks is okay, but only in that Cartoon, the game she appears in, it can burn in the fires of hades.

FUCK HIM AND HIS STUPID FISHING GAME.

It’s the best

I would, but every time he gets left alone someone convinces him that Sonic is doing evil shit. By the time that trait stopped he had no character.

Hence my point.

Metal Sonic does not need to be an actual character with personality, he just needs to be the antithesis to Sonic. Which it is. He a robot, he does not has to have his own motivation or agency .
It what makes Metal Sonic into Sonic’s antithesis, Metal Sonic is the Anathema to everything Sonic stands for, more so than even Robotnik/EggMan.

All Shadow was is the Darker Edgier character no one asked for.

Metal can’t be an antithesis if he doesn’t have a character. In that case what makes him any different than the standard badnik? I like that Heroes made him batshit insane believing himself to be the real Sonic. It makes him function as his own villain.

That makes him an antithesis to Sonic, as Metal Sonic is a twisted mirror parody of everything Sonic is and represents.

SA1 was better than SA2 and not a bad game at all. Big sucks. Rouge was the only decently made “new” character from the DC days. (Deep cover secret agent masquerading as a jewel thief). Shadow was never good.

False, Gamma the best character from the DC era. Otherwise, I agree with all that lol

I can accept this answer.

Christ! I thought Jim Carey had gotten his big break back with In living color back in 1991. Turns out he had his own Tv show called: The duck Factory, in friggin’ 1984! Dayyymmmn. He has been in a business a LOT longer than i thought!

And since i mentioned in living color, can’t forget this classic. He’s like a cartoon character:

2:42 still cracks me up!

This will be one hell of a listen.

The piano rendition of GHZ in the movie was done by John Batiste supposedly. For those who don’t know he plays music on Stephen Colbert’s late show and often sneaks in a VG track every so often on his show.

Finally saw the movie with the family and enjoyed the heck out of it. The easter eggs and setup was cool and man Jim nailed it with the Doctor. I look foward to what they do next. Hopefully they take their time with the sequel.
