Edit: from what I’m reading on Gaf Xbox won’t update until 8am. Thaaaat sucks a duck.

Edit 2: Ok so it’s not the fact that it won’t update until 8am but the game won’t unlock until 8am. Ok the game not being on the marketplace because it needs to up date is one thing that sounds dumb.

Edit 3: apparently the eshop won’t update until 3am ET because that’s midnight PT. I suppose I’ll head to bed and just wake up early and start playing.

Chemical plant act 2 is fucking awesome. I loved the gimmicks introduced in the second act. The boss battle is genius. Second act boss for Studiopolis will not be kind to speedrunners.

Stardust Speedway still has Sonic CD style level design. Easily makes it the worst stage imo. The nods to CD were great.

Did green hill zone before going to bed last night, was mostly sick but didn’t like the boss.

[details=Spoiler] It feels like what you should have to do is get him to extend his arms and use them to get to his head but…

He doesn’t do that attack enough and for some weird reason his big stompy feet have no hitbox so instead of the seemingly logical way to beat him I ended up just running through his feet and hitting his back.

Felt kind of wrong [/details]

A small gripe but it bugs me, overall the game still feels like fucking magic though, my lunch break can’t come soon enough.

Carry is up plus jump, drop dash is just hold jump while in the air. You do seem to have a minimum speed or height, but it’s not that strict. Make sure you aren’t holding up though

That last stage is a little drawn out but I am definitely in love with the rest of the game. They really went all out with the remixing. I love all the new and revamped bosses, awesome stuff.
