I wonder the same thing, too. Sonic Generations forum on Sega.com’s site is just blown up with DLC threads of every kind (stages, playable characters, Sonic Adventure 3). I’m sure ST’s pretty busy, but Sega’s too goddamn quiet. I can’t say I look forward to anything from this game. I just want Sonic CD.
Went back to Unleashed HD for a bit because I want to speed run a stage. I want to learn how to get the most out of drifting/boosting w/sidestep. It doesn’t entirely make much sense to me by simply watching it.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I think the release date for Sonic CD will be the 20th or 27th. 20th because Stranger’s Warth HD is getting released on the 27th, reason given by devs is because on the 20th there will be lots of stuff on PSN, so Sonic CD could be one of them.

Watching Sonic X from the very beginning, much to my own dismay.
Every time Sonic acts out of character and Chris shows how much of a furry he is, I take a drink (of lemonade, I don’t want alcohol poisoning).
So it’s unofficial release for PSN is on the 14th… my birthday. Sega has not made an official statement for this… but today they did release this on their blog:

I’ve been watching it lately as well. On season 2. This show is an overdose of bad puns… and something else. Also, since this is my second time watching it in English dub, I feel obligated to watch all of it again in Japanese with subs. It’s not as bad as Sonic Underground, though.

Sonic Underground at least had Manic. 
Honestly? I think I’d still hate this show even in Japanese. Which sucks, because I’d been looking forward to it ever since it was just an ad in a Japanese magazine.
Why the hell does Sonic never interact with the people around him unless shit’s going down? WTF?
Why did they think it was a good idea to introduce Chris? He’s supposed to be this lonely rich kid or whatever, but it’s hard to like him when he’s constantly getting himself into trouble over stupid shit. Kidnapping Sonic just as he has to leave is some dumbass shit too. =\
And the arcs that are throwbacks to the games feel so watered down it hurts. >_>
What I do like about Sonic X is the (japanese) BGMs (Why did they take these out??), the Super Sonic transformation (no broken Super Tails? Eh, I can deal with it. ) and the first episode . . . in Japanese.
Try the comic then, you might like it (it’s lighthearted but I don’t recall Chris being a major part of the stories), plus it had 2 issues where Eggman traps Sonic and friends in the Sonic 1 video game and Sonic needs to beat it to get out.

Just heard the news about Sonic CD coming out tomorrow for only 5 bucks. Which is awesome because I was expecting pay 10 or 15 for it since they did all the extra work with it.
Unfortunately on sonicretro.org it’s saying that PSN users have to wait until the 20th for the game though…
