Considering what 2006 did storywise you’d think that’d be easy to do but somehow Generations is going to dip into a storyline that technically doesn’t exist. I think my head is starting to hurt.
What 2006 stages are in Generations again? I guess they just put those stages in an attempt to make them better.

I haven’t collected Sonic Comics in a long ass time, I still have my 50th and 100th issue.
I didn’t know they still made em, well I’ll definitely be picking up these bad boys.
Knuckles comics were also pretty damn awesome.
I remember when he was green lol.
I might have to actually grab the sonic and knuckles ones since I started out in the 100’s in the comic
Looking forward to it, but knowing how long I’ve stuck with sonic, I know the cycle.
Looks like it’s just gonna have some sonic unleashed + colors gameplay. And honestly, the Day stages in Unleashed and the colors running is all i ever wanted out of a sonic game.
Still, it’s sega. They’ve found so many ways to screw up a good thing, it’s like I know I’m going to regret downing it by the next morning.

sonic comics in general are highly underrated
imo…sonic 4 should be the future direction of the franchise…generations seems like an appropriate direction for the series as well…just good ol stage cruising no gimmicks…some of the level design and music is great!
sonic 4 is overall pretty nice…

Sonic Generations looks like its gameplay varies between holding RIGHT with the occasional jump and holding UP with the occasional jump.
Why did Uniracers never take off?
Well Modern Sonic looks like the usual mindless running with virtually no platforming or difficulty. Like watching a cutscene thats playable. Dont sound that fun to me, at least after the game is beaten once. The enemies dont seem they have any real impediment factor other than the usual “make sure you are facing them before you press that jump button the second time.” At least the game looks nice, If I can even care that much about looks. So I guess I’m with Specs for the most part.

I’ve played that game to death and I must say that I was trolled. Used to do time attacks and everything, but I had to put that crap down. Simply because of how it turned out.
Beta players got the exact same stages, sans one of the mine zones being completely cart the whole stage. (which they took out.) And we were thinking there’d be more after that.

Nope, that turned out to be the whole first episode. And hilariously enough, this is the same shit they did for the beta in PSU. (Moatoob locked in beta and in opening day, etc.)
Nostalgia goggles didn’t work well enough, especially with the music being pretty sucky too. However, hats off to them bringing the old school chaos emerald stages back.

Damn I can’t wait for this game! Sonic Retro listed Sky Sanctuary is in it. If that’s true I’m gonna die. I would love to see a Hydrocity Zone remake though. That would be nice. Classic Tails looks amazing. They would be stupid to not put Classic Knuckles in here. Plus, Chemical Plant looks so nice. Lets hope the music is even nicer.
