raptor the old school pc game for 3$. man that game was so awesome back in the day, you could upgrade your ship and shit. they should use that more in shooters.

Fun game, but a bit too āeuroā for some peoples taste.
I almost bought it but I didnāt feel that it is worth $3. I feel like it should be free. Probably because of the years I played the freeware demo.
Anyway, Eschatos FINALLY arrived. It only took a month and some change but damn it I got my game! I like it so far. The graphics are pretty dated looking but the gameplay is SO very solid that itās easy to overlook the silly ufos and bla bla enemy designs.
Iām hoping that by the time the rest of you get to read this, PSNās store will be up again and that people can go get shot. Me? Iām seriously starting to think about that 360. That and Iāve been slacking rather badly on getting shot. I hope the docs will have good news for me soon.

So I finally got a chance to sit down and play AKS. Itās really solid, and not nearly as easy as I thought it would be ā which is a good thing 
I donāt understand the scoring 100% but Iāll get it down eventually. The main thing that kills me right now is Boss 2. Sheās tough, donāt think Iāve beat her yet 
Yeah, I got my copy of Akai Katana Shin when I came back from UFGT7. Great game, I canāt quite nail down what my favorite game mode is right now. Shin is fun for the in-your face style of gameplay, Zetsu/Arcade is great for the huge swaths of circling gold.
The fact that this is probably the last Cave shmup release on the 360 for a while at least disappoints me a bit, but Iāll be glad to finally be able to just sit down and put some real time into the huge library of stuff Iāve built up the last almost 2 years now. Really want to try making it to DOOM in Ketsui.

I didnāt dig Eschatos that much at first but after spending several attempts with different modes I really like itās simplicity. Advanced mode is pretty neat.
I can 1CC the first loop, but I canāt score or perform well enough yet to get to either of the second loops.
Thatās all Iām gonna say.

WHAT?!?!? No Co-op? I coulda sworn that they said it would have it!!! damn. Ah well. If luck holds, I will score an XBOX or a new computer this week. Hereās hoping thatāll get the blood flowing.
