Been playing some Thunder Force lately, actually got a 1CC on Thunder Force III, seems like the game throws out 1ups like candy once you start getting a decent run going. Thunder Force IV (or Lightening Force as its called in the US) on the other hand, that game is kicking my ass 10 ways to Sunday just in the first two levels. Amazing games though.

i remember my friend imported thunderforce 4 for the ps and that game was indeed very hard. i dont know if we even beat it back then.

Is it tegra 3 enabled? I’ve got an ASUS transformer prime (love it by the way), but a lot of stuff won’t run on it.

Interesting. So it might be that they are looking at the PS3? For a larger project I would assume it would be for a console, instead of something like iOS or Android but who knows, maybe they have been getting much more returns on that venue.

I think a shit ton of people would be happy for them to switch over to PS3.

On XBLA, you can pick up Guwange (though it is a bit finicky to set up with a 4:3 vertical screen), KOF Sky Stage, and Ikaruga. Also Radiant Silvergun and Strania (+DLC, which is pretty much a full game. Not sure if this is TATEable though). Yea there are some great region free imports too. ESPGaluda 2, Muchi Muchi Pork & Pink Sweets Collection, DoDonPachi Resurrection, Eschatos (+Judgement Silversword, Cardinal Sins).

Also, looks like US and EU Akai Katana may be releasing on May 16th, it’s up for preorder on Amazon at $40.00.

I discovered a really fun bullet-hell shooter this weekend: Playing Skullgirls and picking Painwheel, then trying to get in on Parasoul or Peacock while in flight mode. Bonus points awarded if you can get in on Double during her Moai Head super.
