Been a while since I last posted here. Played through more of Jamestown, such a great game. Also got Darius Burst on PSP. Iâve never played a Darius game before, but this definitely makes me want to back and check the rest of the series out. I like the diverging paths and the straightforward gameplay style.
Put those bullet dodging skills to good use! The cars are now your bullet patterns!

Hey I am so happy to have found this thread. I just recently beat Ikaruga and am on my first way through the DoDonPachi DaiOujou black label series (which is hard as hell). Anyways I stumbled across a shooters themed DJ mix called âBoss Rushâ and I have been listening to it while I play shooters (it fits surprisingly well). Ima post the link since it is free, so give it a listen.
Anyways. I need some tips on how to get better at shooters. I have a tendency to stay near the very back of the screen, but when I watch vids, I see these cats usually in the middle. What are some tips you would have for someone starting out with bullet hell games?
I say keep your eyes open for a hole in their attack. When going through the screen to reach the boss, you MUST watch out for RAPOST A.K.A. the Rotten Ass Piece Of Shit Tank. It will be there and it will have the magic bullet. That shot that no matter how hard you look, you wonât see it before you get hit. They are perhaps the most hated enemy of shooter fans and for good reason. Everything after that is practice, practice, practice. Take care and keep shooting. :tup:

Thanks bruv. Well I am playing the original DDP and i can make through the 3rd stage with no miss, but then i get overwhelmed by the enemies, and I understand what you mean about the RAPOST. There have been a couple of times where I have wanted to quit because I was on a good streak, and then I get shot out of nowhere. Damn tanks.
