I tried the loop on an earlier game and I couldn’t preform it online, so I went for the sure thing:) Oh and when I have the chance to get extra damage with Ibuki I take or I’ll prbably die wishing I had…lol
It was a mistake, sometimes I mash too fast, lol. Thanks for the input. I expose Chris Hu at the arcade all the time and the only way he ever beats me is usually by running away or trying to counter my offence. So I had to put him on blast this time around. haha
God I’d kill for his reactions and amazing decision making.
There’s another Ibuki in there but he’s really not even worth mentioning. The final matches aren’t archived yet but if someone else finds something about him please post up, I gotta get back to work ;\
Yeah…Sako being gdlk as always. My fav ibuki even since ssf4 days.I would like to see his ibuki against daigo’s yun and mago’s fei though.
Also
At 00:57 sako’s ibuki against 2 yuns.
There are also some interesting conclusions from those fights apart from being fun to watch.Like b+mp jumpin fierce is a safejump against yun and you can also see what loops work on the twins.
As for yun’s ultra 1,it is ridiculous how easily it can be comboed into and there are millions of ways to do that.U1 after or before genei jin does little damage, but you can continue the genei jin combo. That’s so op.i guess that the best way to combo into u1,in terms of damage,is after ex lunge punch or shoulder fadc u1.Generally from what i’ve seen yuns ultra 1 by itself isn’t from the ultras that does a lot of damage.
I already brought up what loops work and don’t work on the twins in the AE thread. You should check that out. I tried some of those safe jumps and the timing feels a bit weird on them. I was getting the same results as him, sometimes they would work and sometimes they would get beat out.
CR.MK is not good against the twins, I actually don’t know why he’s doing it. Maybe in reaction, possibly. But if you start throwing it out there in anticipation and the other player catches on, you’re eating a full combo more than you’re going to want to. /Edit - Just saw he did in reaction to a poorly timed low dive kick, that’s fine I guess. Just giving people a warning about how badly dive kicks rape it cause of how long it sticks out for.
I actually felt like the first Yun he fought gave the match away. Not only did he just start playing like an idiot after the first round, he never punished anything correctly after that.
The match right after he loses has some amazing Sagat zoning the second round. What a beast.
You’re probably right, but i can’t think of another long range poke that could eventually beat a dive kick .Cr mp is slow,st mp doesn’t have a big hitbox,f+lk seems to be stuffed and idk about st mk.Everything will depend on spacing and timing when it comes to stopping yun from getting in,but thats obvious lol.
I don’t think that the first yun sold the match. The only big mistakes that i could find were the whiffed ex kazegiri and the blocked kazegiri in the second round. In fact that yun played like an ass from the first round with those whiffed dragonkicks without hit confirming into them. Those things are unsafe since you can’t fadc them. What was he thinking? On the other hand sako could have beaten momochi if he didn’t let him build meter. In the first round he had the upper hand and in the second he didn’t punish that whiffed dragon kick.
Man, yun builds meter so easily that isn’t fun at all. Can ibuki punish those palms with neckbreaker?I know yun can feint them but just asking. Also the frame data on the srk wiki(if it’s correct) is saying that only the ex palm has lower body invincibility,so i guess that nb would beat the other versions?
Yeah that’s what I meant when I said he gave it away. Just doing DPs for the hell of it.
Yun builds meter so fast it’s ridiculous. Like, from what I’ve seen (and I’ve asked some people) there’s not real difference between the start up of his Jab (fake) palm, and his others. I was baited so many times by it that I just stopped trying to react to it. Unless someone finds something extremely noticable, it’s gonna be a mission to deal with. Palm has this stupid fireball property after the animation is done so I wouldn’t be surprised if that hit your neck breaker around the time you were reaching him.
Much testing is going to be done in a couple of days.
Too easy to bait prolly. I actually don’t know if a lot of his strings in with palm except for that target combo one. I’m not even sure that’s the same cause it’s just a command input.
