Okay the above is my best video, and at 1:05 there’s the new combo which isn’t mentioned on this forum yet.
Notation is: MK Tsumuji (2-hit), f+LK xx HK Kazegiri (FADC st.Roundhouse, Kazegiri/or, SJC Command Dash, cr.Fierce)
This combo is a 1-frame link but it’s a no risk 1-framer because if you do it too early you just finish the third hit of the Tsumuji.
Why should you learn it?:
Now maybe Mingo could make a spreadsheet on who it works crouching or not, but this means it’s a hit-confirm from MK Tsumuji into more damage or launcher combos if we want. Have you eer tried to do a Tsumuji Loop and had to drop your combo because your opponent was crouching? This stops that from happening.
Tips on how to pull it off:
Simply hold [towards] before the two hits are finished, and time the f+LK as you would a Tsumuji Loop. The general idea is that if you get a 3-hit Tsumuji you did it too early. As for the Kazegiri that follows, you actually have a long time to input the special so you don’t have to rush the input. For the FADC part of the combo it’s the same as other launcher combos you may be practicing to do.
Never thought of using f.lk in this fashion, good tip Izuna. I guess it’s back to the lab for me. It seems like it’s a safer option to pull this off than a regular st.jab, as it just simply OS’s into the third hit.
Sako does it all the time, it’s nothing new. I’m pretty sure this was discussed forever ago also when trying to figure out what character can be looped on crouch with MK Tsumuji.
Also, no offense. But it looked like you had no idea what you were doing against that Seth player. Also, he doesn’t look that good lol.
Well it may be because it’s online, but I had a harder time against him than I did with Problem-X. To be honest they are the only two Seth players I’ve played against so I’ve only played this match-up probably less than 30 times.
I’m aware it’s old, I found out that it combos before I made the first book. I just thought it was completely useless.
Watching him play looks free, cheap, and ugly.
Playing him is another thing. A lot of his stuff looks like random mashing of an invincible move, it’s actually a smart use of invincibility frames to kick your ass. Play him IRL and he’ll do that on reaction every time.

Just noticed Sako always anti-airs Gief with far.st.HK. It works so well that I’m wondering why don’t I do that as well.
Why aren’t you doing it? Anyways, that anti air has to be done real early cause it’s gets beaten for free if they think you’ll be going for it.
I have a lot of trouble switching my anti-airs. For now I’m sticking with b.MP and the occasional cl.st.HK if my opponent is about to crossup. I never use cr.HP or far st.HK as they are slow, and I usually don’t have a sufficient reaction time to use them accordingly. Guess it’ll come with experience anyway, since I’m finally starting to use st.HK in the Gief matchup =)

I do think she’s free. You saw here Sako was pretty much outfootsie-ing her to death, despite Rose supposedly having the better normals. It’s just that he could never capitalize on knockdowns due to her backdash being gdlk.

Saunic told me that an OS st.MK beats everything Rose has on wakeup. Isn’t that enough to kill her without even using kunai? You can EX neckbreaker a Soul Spark for free, poke her with LK Tsumuji with almost no risk, and then you can beat her on wakeup. I think we only have to limit kunais as her backdash is too gdlk for them
Before we jump to conclusions, I want to see an offline Ibuki vs Rose match, so we can really see how viable wakeup FA xx backdash is against standard safe jumps + reactions.
