Looks like he’ll fit right in over there :stuck_out_tongue:

Time to upgrade your computer bro!

And I hope you and nobody else follows this retarded guide http://shoryuken.com/2011/12/31/8-way-runs-guide-to-building-your-own-stream-parts-1-and-2/ because you can definitely build a solid gaming/streaming computer for much less.

Okay Mother, I’ll edit the description.

I’ll upgrade it when my brother upgrades his. I’m conservative. =P

Do you have an estimated time for that? If you can time it when Ivy Bridge hits, you can get some serious performance, especially if you’re into overclocking. Most people are predicting 5ghz+ quadcore.

Not that you would need that much performance anyways. My older 3.6ghz quadcore is still able to fraps 60fps perfectly fine. I think the best investment you make as of now is just simply getting an SSD, or two cheaper drives in raid 0, assuming your main bottleneck is disk bandwidth.

Bansho Kick -> TC4 is not a good idea because when you hit M.Bison’s crouching normals his Hurt-box is pushed back. You can’t even do cr.LP, st.LP on a Counter-hit M.Bison, let alone the attempted combo.

You cannot Kunai Vortex after Yoroitoshi.

Also jumping Kunai should not be aimed at opponents head otherwise it’s also unsafe on hit.

Since you mentioned Bison, is his Psycho Crusher punishable by neckbraker or is it too risky depending on the spacing?

You can punish it with Hashinsho if you like, but only if it crosses Ibuki up. Otherwise watch your spacing, if he does it too close it’s unsafe but if it hits meaty of at max range it isn’t.

That Ibuki player is terrible, jesus christ.

I’ve got a tournament on the weekend. I’m hoping that you harpys can rip my Ibuki to shreds so I’m better prepared, if you wouldn’t mind.

Overall not a bad performance, but a few things you might want to keep in mind against Gouken:

Beware of his parry. This Gouken didn’t really do it much, but Gouken can pretty easily counter the kunai if you get too predictable with it. Against most Goukens, I tend to go for a fake safe jump, into a low attack, or overhead attack. It seems to catch a lot of Gouken off guard, and if you catch them while trying to parry, you can land a pretty damaging combo.

That first round, I’m not sure why you did a dash up tsumuji. It was kind of risky, considering the fact that he could’ve back-thrown you into his U1. That second round he caught you sleeping and did a dash up back-throw, that nearly cost you the round, learn to late-tech his throws, since you have HOURS to tech his back-throw.

I think Gouken has an unblockable against Ibuki but I can’t seem to find the video proof of it, I’ll post it up if I can manage to find it after my class ends.

0:32 - cr.LP , cr.LP , st.LP works on Gouken, but not the entire cast. It’s okay to use it now, but imo it’s better to get in the habit of just doing cr.LP , cr.LP.

0:35 - kunai vortex against Gouken is incredibly risky. You’re lucky he didn’t wakeup parry.

0:42 - FA xx instant forward dash is the trademark of Autopilot Ibuki™. Unless you actually have a reason for using it, it’s only slowing down your forward dash speed.

0:45 - golden rule of super jumps: never do an empty super jump. Always cancel it into an air attack or something, as the recovery is actually a lot less than if you did an empty super jump.

0:46-1:06 - don’t let Gouken jump at you unless you’re already knocked down.

1:07 - incredibly risky and unncessary jumpin. You could have gotten ultra here and lost the round, despite having a comfortable life lead.

1:52 - when you stun your opponent, don’t go for FA combo starter. Go for j.HP or nj.HP instead for less scaling but still good damage.

1:55 - 99% of the time on a post-stun combo, you can go for full TC4. No need to go for only the 3hit version.

2:03 - incredibly risky slide. If he blocked that he could have back thrown you into U1. Even if it hit, you wouldn’t even be at a frame advantage anyways.

2:20 - when going for super chip, it’s generally a better idea to throw an initial LP or MP kunai instead of HP to catch your opponent trying to escape before the super flash. HP kunai doesn’t do very well since it’s almost the same trajectory as HP super anyways.

You mean this one?

Pretty situational and very obvious imo.

True, but it’s still something to be aware of. Knowledge is power.

Who is this guy?

I don’t know but that Ken is bloody amazing. Did you see that kara-Focus?

Am I scrubby for doing the instant focus into forward dash to cancel my recovery frames?

Is kara focus supposed to be hard to do or something?

What recovery frames?

Dash recovery frames
