lol turbo Dhalsim.
Pretty delicious set. I’m happy to see that he can no longer do his FADC mix-up for free anymore, I used to hate OnlineTony for doing that shit. Pretty rocky start with F-Word, but after that taunt, he just turned it up to 11. EVERYBODY plays twice as hard once they get taunted, lol. He made great use of his dash to get out of the dive kick, and good reads on his tandem engine to jump out of the way to avoid his close-up game. I’m surprised he didn’t try to anti-air his jump ins more, although it’s probably because Seth is able to change the timing of his jump attacks to beat it possibly?
Holy shit, never seen ANY dhalsim mash so hard in my life, lol. Why would Dhalsim need a turbo anyway? He’s probably the least effective character with turbos on.
The super ender Izuna used is how I end like…80% of my matches. Nobody ever sees it coming.
For when you need to mash st.HP as fast as possible, of course.
Wait what? He’s using turbo? I never noticed this.
Anyway I played a ft10 set with a Makoto (it was 11 matches actually but the final game was just be being silly) and I used a mixture of Ibuki and Makoto. I’m not sure about uploading it, at least if I do I’ll hide my opponent’s name because, after a couple of matches I realised that he was crouch-teching after like EVERYTHING.
So basically the only thing you can take from it is how I started to punish people who do crouch-techs over and over. Anyone interested?
Just upload it with his name. I don’t see why you or anyone would care about “exposing” people online. Are people really that concerned about their e-peen?
Nothing to do with e-peen, just following the Golden Rule.
I don’t give a shit if someone posts a video styling on me. I won’t give a shit about posting a video peeing on someone else.
Exactly.
Okay what I’ll do is have the first match (which was in Ranked), a couple more Ibuki vs. Makoto, then both Makoto vs. Makoto, then finally the discovery match. So that’s… 6 Matches in total, which will take me a while to upload. I’ll do this after my event tomorrow, I can’t stay up tonight.
I hate Dictator. Soo much. Was about to finally beat one but hey, infinite scissor kicks pressure lol lol lol!
I’d be interested in watching that. Although I imagine it’s probably just you doing st.mp frame-trap combos all day long.
For some of these guys online, their e-peen is EVERYTHING. In their world, the higher the BP/PP ranking, the more successful you are in life. It’s odd logic.
This is actually why Umehara Daigo started playing SF4. Also, Tokido and I believe many other Japanese players cared very much about BP/PP. AFAIK Sakonoko is the odd one out in that he never plays Ranked or even has a Taito Card for the Arcades. Iyo didn’t even input his name until he was around Top 10.

Anyway I’m heading out to run my tournament so wish me luck! This week’s been so horrifically busy I’m glad to work on the Rev.3 guide and actually play more Street Fighter next week. =)
Many Sakonoko matches - AE not 2012
EDIT: As it turns out, the only match worth watching is vs. Dictator.
his match against xiao hai was really good too.
i dont know… 3rd round of the first match sako versus xioas yun was ridiculous. proving ibuki would be a good marvel character with hitting his opponent with 3 resets…

Yeah too bad any decent player knows just to mash jab against that slut.

Here is a match I played a few days ago. The Cody was really random on the first round so I did the same thing second round and won.
You have really sweet execution, and I know you’re playing very confidently here, but you sometimes burn your meter for no reason. You can hit-confirm after a TC4, don’t do a EX Tsumuji as it’s a waste. Well regardless, your HJC execution is as good as always. I just hope you know how to play patient when the time comes. =)

I’ve had some replays saved from a while ago. I’ve just grouped them all together. The important thing to learn is the safe-jump vs. Chun-Li after Tsumuji which is -> Spin Kick -> j.Forward (OS with either Neckbreaker, Raida, cr.Roundhouse).
Also, st.Jab to punish EX Hayate is spacing specific. Please get into the habit of using Spin Kick (f+Short) to punish as it has more range.
The rest is just well, typical AE Ibuki.

Start -> 1:10 = Ibuki vs. Ibuki, Reset showcase
1:10 -> 2:37 = Ibuki vs. Chun-Li
2:37 -> 4:21 = First Match Ibuki vs. Makoto (Ranked Match)
4:21 -> 6:49 = Final Match Ibuki vs. Makoto (Endless Match)
Spoiler
By this point I was just trying to make the player aware of his button pushing issues.
6:49 -> End = Makoto Mirrors (2 Matches, v.GGs)
I played a bunch of Ranked Matches (about 15 or so) to try and get from v.GGs in for you guys, but all I got was a Sagat and Boxer who let me do st.Roundhouse HJC Kasumi Gake over and over as if it were some sort of run-stop pressure. They just blocked there for eternity like it was +10 on block or something. None of you need to see that…
Thanks haha. The match before was actually horrible haha. I do really bad with Cody matchups, so I had to have one round to see what he could do. I noticed that he didn’t know any frame traps at all, so I went all out once my friend got passed. I’m an execution whore!!! Though I’m still trying to learn more and more strategy instead of combos, I feel comfortable rushing people down as long as I know that I can deal with them
BTW, how would I teach my friend? He’s a PC player and he’s learning viper on a keyboard. I’m not even that experienced yet he looks up to me since I dominate when I play with friends.
lol glhf
On topic: teach him to think analytically and show him the depth of SF.
