You can’t plink Tsumuji Loops… Well you can blink but there’s no point me rewiring a stick for home use if I mainly play at Arcades. BTW why do people think Tsumuji Loops are so hard, but don’t care for when I do 3x cr.LK, or overhead into st.MK. They’re 1-framers too.
Wow, Haitani making the matchup look 6-4 Makoto favored. Spamming FA backdash to make Sako work for his okizeme and spamming dash up command grab -> ultra as low risk/very high reward. Sako pulling out 1f combos out his ass and Haitani doing twice the damage with Tsurugi auto dive kick + frame trap into very easy combo.
I’ve only seen the first two matches, but the Sako vs Haitani match looks awesome

Okay, It was late yesterday when I posted this message, I was back from a hard training at the gym and I was being stupid. I just have a stupid habit of “plinking” st.LP - st.LP + st.MP when I tsumuji loop, and there is even a placebo effect which makes me think I’me more successful when I “plink” it, even if it has no sense.
Also, for a silly reason, cr.LK x3 feels a lot easier than a single tsumuji loop. I think that because of the short delay between the inputs, you usually have a better timing. The time you have to wait between the Tsumuji input and the st.LP input makes it harder.
^ - That’s very true, which is why when you don’t have to specifically practice Tsumuji Loops to get better at them. It’s just your muscle memory with hitting buttons on the Stick that matter. Once you have that settled, you can learn almost any link fairly quickly. =)
Finally came around to watching this. Just came here to say your Boxer friend sucks, lol.
-random dash punches, even full screen (please punish these)
-FA backdash is his go-to antiair (I noticed you switching over to air target combos, and using TC10; please abuse this more if he doesn’t know how to antiair properly)
-cr.LP , throw is his #1 setup (I would just mash raida if he wants to be this obvious)
-cr.LP , walk spam to give the illusion of pressure (just mash backdash until he shows you option selects)
-doesn’t know how to time safe jumps
-etc.
You can probably outclass this guy if you simply abuse/punish any of the habits I just listed.

Guys, a correctly played Rose is a true nightmare imho. The only reason is because nobody plays her, so we don’t really know perfectly this matchup. Look at WDM Louffy’s performance at last EGL. He just takes advantage of her backdash and punishes everything :-/
