For real? I had a dream last night that I was playing Ranked, kicking ass, and got up to Super Silver.

Woke up this morning logged in and saw I was still Ultra Bronze and wondered what the hell happened. It wasn’t until I realized I was playing those matches with my stick on the couch, and that in reality, the cable is about 7 ft too short to allow that to happen.

Game takes up way too much of my precious mental real estate… oh well.

Though, my execution seemed a bit better today so perhaps what I was really doing was putting some inputs deeper into my memory.

Trust me, I understand the feeling of hitting a plateau. There was a time where reaching Platinum felt impossible for me. Keeping it without getting ranked down felt even more impossible. That dream will become a reality as long as you keep playing and making note of your approaches to the W/L’s.

Thanks. I do actually feel that I’m starting to get better. I noticed a difference this morning with how I was spacing myself and looking for patterns and trying to counter my opponent.

I am definitely playing now with a bit more patience and less of an urge to just YOLO my way in.

I’m still getting used to the stick though and dropped a lot of inputs, but there were fewer than at any point in the last week.

Well that is why I said “may”. I want to see the final changes and more importantly, see a high level player put her through the paces before making a final judgment. Plus with all the hitbox/hurtbox changes. I think we are in the dark on a lot of the characters.

Punk himself shows whiff punishing are real in SFV and denying his skills is silly. He has the ability to end in top 3 in every tournament, but his ego fuck him big nowadays. Definitely he need to stop playing with his food, but he was the biggest target of CPT for a reason. You need good skills and unga to stop him, you can blame his SFV commitment (I did earlier myself), but respect his skill. Fanboys are all over there, look at the shitstorm Mena gets after his Capcom Cup win.

Hmm speaking of the AA adjustments, Karin’s offense is gonna get another hit as her jump-ins aren’t great I think, and they’ll be less good if the improvements to AA buttons and jump-ins heavies getting nerfed are what people suspect.

She will be fine, she gets AA buffs also. With her footsies Karin don’t really need to jump, people are gonna respect her even much with st.HP CC.

If Ibuki command dash mix-ups you and you try to stuff it with a mid, I get my fucking overhead because I don’t have time to register my stick movement.

I was about to win and I got overhead intstead of st.mp, that’s annoying.

what are his patchnotes? I heard rumblings of a +4 oB f.hp? That’s actually really good, do 2f gaps stop backdashes from air resetting? He’ll be able to do f.hp > st.mp without the opponent air resetting if they choose to backdash/hold-up
