Das the longest vid I ever made by a long stretch and it took like 9 hours to make so I won’t be doing that again anytime soon. If English notes hit and there is signifcan’t differences I’ll be making a shorter more concise video.
I agree with Froztey also, but ending in Losers most of the time give a bad look about his interest for the game. Even a lion use all his power to hunt a rabbit, he need to stop overestimating himself too much, everyone wants to make themselves a name by took him down.
Gimme a break, my eyesight is worse than S2.0 Ryu and I watched on mobile to do the thumbs up.
I’m watching the PreCoop Cup Stream Archive. First team is Makoto Team.
…Man, I’m definitely maining her in 3S. I wonder what will be her VT2 when she finally drops in S4.
Either one of her SFIV Ultras will be my pick (Her turning red will definitely be VT1), but I wanna know if I’m going to be able to get away with just using EX Bar without storing for CA.
Like I said yesterday, they seem to be betting a lot on the box changes, this might turn AE into a very different beast from what we have right now.
If jump-ins are getting nerfed and poking buttons are getting better hitboxes, the grounded neutral in AE will be a lot more important.
Not to mention that characters that had a weaker AA game will be less crippled in comparison to characters like Cammy and Akuma.
For low tiers that had great AA like Ryu and maybe Ed (Dunno his tier), this takes away one of their strongest selling points, which in Ryu’s case may get him even lower on the tier list than expected.
Even in 2.5 Ryu was pretty solid defensively because you couldn’t jump at him. He has a solid array of AA buttons, a DP and a great Air-to-Air to convert into some nice damage and a neutral reset if he wants to burn bar with j.MP xx EX Air Tatsu.
With everyone getting better AA buttons and jump-in buttons being nerfed overall, Ryu gets to be an even worse pick.
"Oops! Please don’t pay any attention to these patch notes which aren’t final! Don’t bother obsessively reviewing the balance changes for us! Final notes coming after you’re done doing that. "
I think these patch notes are incomplete. In the sense that what we got so far is all in the game, and if there are any changes, they would be additions to these notes.
We don’t really know what the hitbox adjustments are or what they will do to the game. They are taking out a lot of AA jabs which can make the game even more jumpy unless they actually REALLY make the dedicated medium and heavy AA much better. There’s a reason why so many people use jab AA and it isn’t because of all the damage. With no easy reactive jab AA anymore you might see some people in themselves go down tiers. Punk uses a lot of jab AA with Karin as an example. You never know what’s going to happen.
Lost early, or didn’t make top 8: "Man, he wasn’t in serious mode, when he is serious, nobody can stop him!"
Won the tournament: “Yeah best player in the world free.”
