So a quick reminder - Cooperation Cup, the single biggest SF3 Third Strike event in the world, is returning this weekend for its 16th annual installment, once again breaking some of its records like over 500 unique players in attendance. The event gathers the strongest players not just among the Japanese FGC but perhaps in the entire world, with legends like Nuki, Haitani, Tomigawa, Vanao, RX, and many others entering once again.
The event itself consists of basically two tournaments. Pre-Cooperation Cup, thatās being held on Day 1, includes teams that consist of just one same characters with 5 members in each (though there are exceptions of course, although pretty rare). Cooperation Cup (where the name of the event comes from) is held on Day 2, and while itās not that much different from PreCoopCup - the important distinction is that CoopCup doesnāt lock teams into a singular characters, and there can be multiple of the same character within one team, but the member count is pretty much always 5 (VERY rarely, if ever, there are 4 members)
