The SFV Lounge: SRK is ALIVE. AE Hype is BACK! DISCORD going the way of DISCO

Some people do. Apparently.

Depends on what Akuma decide to do, tk zankus are a good thing if they know their opponent goal is cross under, especially if the latter tried to do that before. The annoying thing about Zanku is being hard to bypass with a dp, with Zeku I need to use EX with the right timing: using meterless dp beats the fireball but Akuma recovers earlier,if I use meter I had to do later because the fireball can bounce me on the ground hitting my non invincible spot if it’s still active. Since I have to meter it’s a win-win situation most of the time.

With Karin air TC is an option until Akuma don’t decide to use the DF Palm earlier iirc and to make the TC useful Karin had to jump back losing ground. If Karin does the AA tc jumping forward then the player has read the pattern.

They’ve already advertised the 16th in so many trailers that a delay would only be for some random region. Everyone else is getting it on Tuesday.

Complete side note…

If anyone is doing international shopping, and DHL is an option… pick that shit. I ordered something Wednesday night in Miami from Leeds UK and that shit is being delivered today before close of business. Don’t know what type of Voodoo they got going on there but I am all for it.

Those who live by the mixup will die by the neutral

The prophecy is being fulfilled!!!

I liked her because she always had a sort of fun/free form approach to the shoto/ansatsuken style. All her moves had a different spin on how Ryu/Ken would perform them (kind of how they made Ken now in SFV which I like). In CVS her pokes (especially st. HK) were godlike and Shoshosho is the first A-Groove CC I wanted to learn (this is after years of avoiding A-groove/not knowing about its use). In SF4, she has some of the most rewarding link combos in the game.

Those aspects didn’t seem to change in SFV from what I can tell in the trailer, so I’ll probably play her as a pocket character again.

Haha, I wait eagerly for his reply.

Good morning Twin.

Only delayed for Germany makes no sense. Germany was allied with Japan in WW2!

@Paradise1955
Gloves don’t work because cracks happen which leave open cuts
So even if I wear gloves, any kind of pressure will cause pain

Have a good weekend all
I’m gonna be at the casinos so my hands will go through a 3 day healing process lol

No lie
MattressMuncher bodied me hard I almost lost confidence in myself

But wait, if the jump attack hurtboxes were made smaller so that AA jabs wouldn’t collide with them, even if the medium/heavy AA normal hitboxes are larger, couldn’t it still make it so that the timing on the AA Normals have to be better timed so they don’t trade?

Though I guess it all depends on the jumping attack hitboxes.

I really wish Capcom added an easy way to view these various boxes in-game.

But that is FG101. You have to take into account what your opponent can do and choose your option.
I still think that risk vs reward is not heavily into Akuma’s favour (if at all).

I can’t tell if they mean the physical re-release, or the Steam version too for whatever reason. So many questions! So much potential sadness :c

I’d love it if this game became more neutral based and less frame trappy, I hate that about sf4 also… block 3 frametrap setups into O/S was so booty to me…sf4 was the real auto pilot game.

However sf5 aint to far behind with all the frame trap pressure/CC pressure…

It would be great if most characters got 1 or two frame traps a turn and had to land more hits in neutral and take a risk to jump in for big damage. However the game might slow down to 3 s pace which a lot of people didn’t like. Granted 3s matches seem like they go by super fast now when i watch or play them.

Germany too full of germanians for me to trust them fully.

Stop

There’s only a couple characters that can really slow 3S down. Like if you’re fighting a good Yang and they get in, the round can be over before some of the most unga rounds in SFV are over. You can literally be dead in the first 8 seconds of the second or 3rd round to like some straight mid tiers in 3S.

Outside of fighting like Chun Li or Oro (who can slow the game down a lot), 3rd Strike matches usually don’t last more than 2 minutes and sometimes entire matches can be done in less than a minute. Like ST it can be very volatile and momentum heavy where 1 or 2 things go wrong and then you’re dead. Most characters have throw loop worthy pressure in the corner and some characters like Urien pretty much checkmate you once you carry to the corner

DHL Express is incredibly fast, and orders I place to Japan usually arrive in the US within about three days, but back when I was ordering a lot more the number of times the package got damaged during transit and came wrapped up in yellow DHL tape was a bit high for my taste. I’m lucky that Amazon Japan’s packaging is top notch, cause I only had one item arrive damaged even if the outer box got ripped to shreds by DHL.

Blargh, accidental post. Move along…

Edit: Eh, might as well make the post useful. Have some music:

When are they going to say if it’s the physical game or update now?

does steam/valve even do different release dates for different regions?
i guess its just the disc version for the ps4 in europe. takes a while to get the old boxes and put a new label on em :bee:
