To be fair, getting 6-0d live in front of thousands of people would make almost anyone salty. That was pretty brutal.
This is early Chris G in Marvel all over again. PIcking some ok characters just to have fun and then eventually gets bodied by whoever is playing cheaper characters. He had the cheaper assist, but Sonicfox was purposely hiding at the top corner of the screen which is the one place where itās not very relevant. He was always up backing/air dashing back in the corner to force it to come out and then would go in once Chris whiffed it. Trunks and 18 donāt really have that great of range and theyāre just not as oppressive as 16, Hit, Cell, A.Gohan etc.
Chris is going to need to change his team if he wants to get any real wins vs Sonicfox again. At least GO1 is playing an actual high tier/cheap team so weāll see where that goes. Should have more opportunities to force him into Vegeta assist.
Looking forward to Final Round to see some Blanka and maybe, probably Falke trailer then or before then.
I would like to see SonicFox making an incursion into SFV. Dude could easily lock horns with the top as long as he mains a decent character (aka not FANG).
For the vega mains.
He could. He was using Ibuki and Urien for a bit towards the later part of Season 1. Hed have to play some set play type of character for sure. Heās not gonna get top 3ing CPTs with like Birdie, Guile or Karin. Thatās just not his style.
With that said realistically itās not happening. He apparently only entered DBFZ and Injustice at Winter Brawl so it seems like heās already starting to consolidate what he plays with eSports getting so big. Him going hard in SFV against all of its killers will just stifle his Injustice and DBFZ game in the long run

I actually anticipate the underperforming/overperforming V triggers to be tweaked Mid Season Patch (If there is one).
Yeah, wasnāt Guileās v trigger changed from 2 to 3 bars in the season 2.5 patch?
