Pretty much. Anyone who thinks this is going to be the super footsies, unga free season is about to get hit by a ton of bricks like a month after the 16th. Abigail getting buffed is already the red flag that the unga is among us. People always find new shit and Lauraās VT1 is basically at Season 2 Rog VT1 levels the way itās sounding. Rashid is still going to c.HP you to death, Ibuki will still have plenty of ways to reset you to death and so on.
The changes to the normal hit/hurt boxes and medium/heavy AAās will make neutral stronger, but the same issues where normals donāt do enough basic damage is still there so finding the best set play and damage off CCās will still be premium. Footsies got better, but you need the unga to pay off the footsies.
I donāt even care about ibuki, iām more pissed off at the lack of aegis reflector nerfs / lack of zeku buffs. They can remove Vega once and for all if they want, too. Ninjas will be rought to play in season 3.
Iām fine with what they did to Ibuki. c.MK buff is great for me because it basically just improves the range that I get to play from the ground and can force confirms off a button that stops people from standing/walking now. Once the new resets and post block ex kunai setups are found, shouldnāt have much of a problem. f+HK being untouched (unless the official official notes say otherwise) is good. Get to safely fish with it still.
I give capcom flack for the patch notes but you normally donāt get patch notes a week or really at all before a patch drops. So I canāt hate on em for that too much
You should hate on them because they accidentally released the notes and had no intention to release them. This is a happy accident basically.
If the guy smoking weed in the office didnāt accidentally put the pdf on the site, all we got from Capcom was that the notes would be coming soon and itās been days since soon. Luckily that guy smoking weed hooked it up. Capcomās statement afterwards is that these notes are incomplete and weāll be getting the really real official notes soon.
