I think capcom (and any company) should let the fighters be used in practice mode without buying them. That way people donât have to grind or fork over money to have characters that wonât play, but can still train against them.
it would be great for us but no one would buy then the chars anymore expect maybe that one he want to main.
so, from a company standpoint i can understand why they dont allow that.
maybe a middle way could be found so that you pay a low summ of fm to not buy but to rent a char for trainingsmode for a fixed period of time.
that + the one week free for everyone thing like they did for sakura on release of each char might be something which benefits both sides at the end.
brawlhalla too but no ârealâ fighting game so far did itâŚat least i dont recall one. you can unlock em ingame then with a ingame currency or buy a pack to get em.
While true, I donât think it would be bad. I mean, you can unlock things for free now just need to grind. So capcom is still âlosingâ money. At least this way, if people actually want to just practice against a character without grinding or money I think it should be fine. And if you want to play said characterâŚwell pay up or grind out.
The problem with using one player as a measuring stick is that it assumes that that player plays every match at an optimal level or that the people they are playing against arenât just playing out of their minds or that they also play the match up at its most optimal level.
I know it flies in the face of what we conventionally do in tier discussions but single tournaments are not good examples of what to base tier lists on.
For example after infiltration won evo jp he was on stream talking about how he felt like his characters were just catching a lot of players off guard because they werenât familiar enough. He was alluding to the idea that it was more about him vs his opponent as players than it was the characters
All we really know from singular events is that bad or mediocre characters canât do the majority of the leg work when it comes to going really deep into the brackets at a stacked event
Well the gfâs more or les proved that. Since john buried infil and sent him to losers. Guess he figured john was weak to wake-up dpâs and wake-up jabs. He was right. John looked stumped.
After heavy thought I think abi is fair, the only nerf I would give him is a 5% damage bost in vt and take away 1 juggle point. So instead of you losing 75% you only lose 30-45%.
