Even fewer calories and even more cardio than what youre doing now. Your margin for error in your diet is also way smaller. Gotta really micro manage everything to get under 10

You have horrible math. Say you are literally the best ever and can never lose a game.

And play everyday:
365 x 2 pound = 730 pounds/yr

Slim = 260 pounds

Okay you have a job so you can only play 4 times a week, but you are still the best ever and never lose:

(4×52) × 2 = 416 pounds

Slim = 260 pounds

Okay, okay. You have a job and a demanding wife so you can only go 2 time a week, but you are the greatest to ever done it and cant lose to save your life:

2×52 × 2 = 208 pounds

Slim = 260 pounds

Thats just 1 year of your greatness.

I don’t know, maybe its me, but sometimes I suspect I can sell you guys used condoms.

I mean

Price?

@itzpookiie How was the connection when we played? Was pretty good on my side and didn’t notice any real rollbacks. I’m glad the game is working on my computer again. Can train up my side waifus online again.

I guess Discord really is killing this place

This thread is moving way too slow now

Chun-Menat is not a matchup where you look for a slightly-less-worse-than-everything-else option, it’s a matchup you play with another character, plain and simple.

Humanbomb got fucking 3-0ed and didn’t even win a round, the downplaying about how bad that matchup is for Chun from some people here is hilarious.

All this doom and gloom talk about Menat I mean seriously, have we come to this point now?

Oh noes she is too good against Chun? Wow it’s not like there arent any other characters in the game that have such unfavorable match ups, are there.

Well in practice it doesn’t really matter because I can’t remember the last Menat I played. Abigail and Akuma are all the rage these days.

They don’t have time for forums with all the talk of dick sweat going on over there.

Any EU players want to play?

Welp, better than being dead. Plus there’s no news ATM which this place is always slower when no news. DBZ forum is a little more active since the game just came out and everyone looking for cawmbos. They’re obviously using Discord and Tweeter and Snapchat and eveyrthing too. Well…actually now looking at the thread we’re probably still slightly more active here really. Seems there’s only like one or 2 posts an hour there.

I just use Discord for quick shit posting. No way you can actually follow a conversation there unless you’re on it all day. Forums are better for seeing real statements and being able to catch up on them (or catch on shit posts).

Discord is basically a chat room so lots and lots of shit posting and IRL mess until you find something good that you must be around for. Otherwise it’s not worth bothering to scroll all day and read something important inbetween someone’s shit posting and favorite music videos. Chat room Yorkey is basically Super Saiyan Yorkey.

So who’s up for the EU lounge tonight?

Looking at the calendar and noticing that tomorrow is the last day of January; have there been any updates regarding the migration to Discourse?

I agree that the slow news and DBZF factors are bigger deals than Discord being around. Even before the Great Shutdown Terror of '18 these forums only really came to life when news popped up or someone really got a shitposting roll going. Where Discord has fucked up the dynamic is that all of the really good shitposting goes over there, with precious little making it back here.

You also miss awesome little moments like the other day when Pertho, Ves, and I think Froz were having a conversation about teaching and learning FGs/SF (going from memory so apologies if I mis-remembered anyone there). That was a really cool conversation to read but its lost to the feed now. Though in fairness I don’t know if that kind of conversation would develop the same way on a forum (probably not given the back and forth necessary) and we did get some good pinned quotes out of it.

Edit: Wait I think it Psychoblue was in that convo instead of Pertho. Or maybe both. Too many p’s.

Yeah more spur of the moment conversations are good if you can catch them, but you can always just ask them to one on one you about some shit if you really need that. For me the only real use I get out of Discord is the character thread stuff since I already know how fighting games work for the most part. The little back and forth about “this is how the fighting games work” would just be stuff I wouldn’t need to be around for, but helps those that need it.

Shit posting is fun, but that’s basically facebook/chat room stuff that you can create anywhere really. Nothing special about other than bonding about bullshit like the SRK Lounge and such.

Regardless of how active it is I like just seeing something in one posts that sits in one place and I can look at it when I want to and easily quote or respond to it when I can. Chat room is always going to be the information equivalent of hanging out at a bar so unless you’re at the bar actively talking you’re not going to get much out of it other than the pinned/posted notes in the character forums. Which pinned notes is effectively a filtered upvote. It’s a good middle ground for when you wanna just throw a bunch of small shit at each other though.

It was great on my side
Really need to work on reacting to those dashes better
Not many ibuki nowadays to play against

Set up a lounge with password. will try joining later

Yeah when the netcode works it works pretty well. Not sure if playing on PC helped since it was a long time since I played you on PS4. Training stage seems to help also. I know playing Twinblades for me is fucked on PC and PS4 so some people you just aren’t going to have any luck with. For you being in the south our connect was pretty good. I can usually get good games in with western europe people as well since just right across the atlantic. West coast is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a good one, sometimes it’s bad. Like everytime I fight BushinStyle/LatinoDro it’s delay/rollback city but remember having a really good connection the one time I fought Viscant.

I’ll have to work on my frame traps and such since the dash stuff only works so often in stuff that’s not a standing reset. She’s technically punishable enough to get hit by medium and heavy buttons if you were theoretically able to react fast enough off a block string. Which is why I try to minimize doing them off block strings since that’s where they’re the most easily punished any way. You gotta do it to keep turn every once in a while, but over a long set you’re going to get punished against anyone with good reactions if abused.

Luckily Ibuki getting a 2 bar trigger that’s effectively a better version of her 3 bar trigger helps to give her some extra momentum when she needs it. The fact that it can basically freeze the opponent in the air if they jump and anti air them really helps her neutral out a lot. It’s just not as unga bunga comeback as her old trigger was, but I guess that’s a good thing for the game.

I definitely need more practice vs Birdie, Vega and Kolin so we’ll have to play more sometime soon.

Lounge is up guys, 0123 password. Shout for an invite.
