Not if youre good and stay on. I used make 2 pound last at least 3 hours. Nearly got beaten up one time mind you.

You get to choose what side you’ll end up on, so it can be a sort of turn the pressure around and have you’re opponent cornered when you’re in the corner thing.

I don’t think it’s that bad tbh. The V-trigger is more problematic than the neutral imo, and there’s a legit threat of dealing with two per round. If her V-trigger was three bars or her st. HP didn’t have the potential to CC, I wouldn’t have a problem with this matchup at all.

I think the time to change Tokido from the tagline is here by far. What about “Tier lists are for non-koreans”?

So the in game stats actually work… like all of them… when did this start to happen?

Around when Ed came out with the New CFN thing.

That seemed to be the initial plan. It seems they fell through. IIRC Taito and Capcom couldn’t come to an agreement. I believe there were a few prototypes made.

Chun has the walkspeed to weave around orbs and still get at Menat, and Chun’s EX fireball is a surprising nuisance if you need to get in (Menat can’t effectively break it and can’t reflect it either; Menat can slide under but it doesn’t go that far and it’s easy to get in a spot to make Menat either whiff or hit/block at a range where it’s punishable).

It’s not in Chun’s favor but it’s not the next Menat - Gief match-up that they’re making it sound.

Yeah, Menat players all over the world tremble in fear at the sound of EX Kikouken.

I worry for Menat’s safety, when the OGs start to get green with envy at a newcomer it doesn’t bode well for him / her.

Shoto players were mad salty at 2I Sean. The rest is history.
Poison were doing this cool fireballs at 1000 life, and the Ryu players started the stupid “Poison top5, Ryu bottom 5” meme that destroyed her in the last balance changes.

I hope they let Menat have her fun at least during the entire S3 season.

I’m still salty about what they did to Sean in 3rd Strike. :unamused:

Tier lists are for poor people.

That fails to mention how Fuudo won EVO the first time he went out of Japan, how Dashio got to the last Capcom Cup in SF4 by winning Tokyo Game Show, how Moke got top 8 at EVO just last year after he finally went overseas, how AiAi got to top 8 at EVO 2015, how players like SuperSantarouMan, EX Pugera, Taiga and Kyabetsu had top 16 results at their EVO debuts, and many, many other results from “Unknown” japanese players at tournaments. You can hardly call it a myth when there’s a myriad of results that show otherwise.

As others have mentioned the lack of an arcade release for SFV simply means this game is a completely different beast in Japan. One thing that people overlook is that playing at the arcade does build another kind of endurance that is great for playing at tournaments since playing with money and your turn on the line has more stakes than playing for 70 points. When you take this into account and the fact that the japanese tournament scene lost SBO which was a great motivation for players everywhere in the country you start noticing why and how the players that have been the best for a while have remained so in the wake of SFV’s arrival. One of the few players to have come out of nowhere after being an online beast for a while (Moke) does have access to constant competiton in Cyclops Osaka’s locals, which prepared him better for big tournaments than most other “unknown” japanese players since they don’t have locals on their region.

I’m trying to cut my body fat down by 2%. Right now I’m 11, I’m trying to get to 9%. Any tips? I can’t seem to break my own limits

CFN is Froztey, if I ain’t asleep or out I’ll be playing

It’s an option she has to help her fight the match-up.

If you’re gonna have that kind of attitude about it you can just keep losing. shrug

I hope not. It’s not like Menat is a character you can just pick up and make work. While she doesn’t have to be your main to fully utilize her, she does require much more time than the average character does in this game.

Not to mention that SFV rewards offense more than anything else, so Menat and her poor defenses are done once someone is in and it’s never impossible to get in on your opponent in SFV.

Nah man, we gotta nerf defensive play, it’s too good
