Damn… he stuck with the character even when she was low tier garbage all throughout season 2, dude was one of the last Chun-Li’s left. I’m interested to see who he picks now.

Just watched it. Infil wins. I called it at top 128… hmm. Meh.

Also thought mena and nemo would be in top 8.

Funny to see people talking about juri winning evo or a GF. All that happened there was the character that got all the way found itself in a ridiculous matchup and so the players second best character had to come in and take down the not so horrid matchup.

The ex dps really got to John, but besides the awesome wiff punishes I saw from John, it was mostly just unga shit from him. “Random” mixer, random v skill and random jump were the things that put in work against menat. Didn’t think that was particularly great play… but it was sf5 in a nutshell so w/e I guess.

Really though, Takeuchi was highly outplayed at all levels. Once infil saw how bad John was at blocking lows and protecting his ankles he was able to bully Takeuchi for a few rounds. That was one of the real places that the match really swung. Never been a fan of juri but seeing her take on the unga forward specials and win was pretty awesome to see. It’s funny that even at the highest level where you would expect people to play actual streetfighter with footsies like punk and tokido, unga still makes it into grand finals and damn near takes it.

Takeuchi played the game brilliantly and was super clean, but watching him just try and ramrod it in over and over again was pretty annoying from my perspective.

Well that’s sf5.

Congrats on your win infil.

MOV’s last tweet. Google translate is shit, but you can kinda get the idea.

A year ago, I wonder if I thought that I tried to use it even if weakened Chunri, I guess I could win if I could move it a bit better, but I still want to continue a little more, I think to think again from how to go out with gates. I am sorry for being unworthy.

It’s the end of an era huh? He’s got nothing to be ashamed of though. Top 8 with Chun in 3 Evos. If you’re gonna go, that’s as good a place to leave behind a character as any.

@“Evil Canadian”

Digging through my old videos and stumbled across this. Something I made for T. Hawk many years ago:

I was a dumb kid so I didn’t know what he actually needed and just threw in random stuff that came to mind

Never! I would never leave behind a character I am loyal to like that, certainly not after they took me to Top 8 for 3 Evos. Chun-Li is on the verge of another come back, why on Earth would he abandon her at the edge of glory!?!?!?!

He deserves a fucking couch to the face.

He even has the crying Manga man pic. The struggle has been too real. Props MOV for lasting that long. I originally picked up Chun because I liked how a lot of her buttons resembled 3S Chun and the cancelable c.mk. It’s been fun

A guy I work with did hair transplants and it looks alright. But its only in the crown of his head, not the front. He doesn’t look bad. Compare that to Wayne Rooney who looks like he’s got arsehole fluff on his head. Definitely mixed results from it.

The just shave your head idea isn’t bad but Jesus, if I did that I’d look like a psycho and would probably be locked up for the sake of society. God understands that people like me cannot go bald. At any cost. I’m too fucking weird looking.

I just realized a bald M. Bison would look like Sagat

Do we really think he will just drop chun? Who for? Karin? Cammy?

Idk. But I feel his pain, he should have known when nuki dropped the game that Chun wasn’t going to be good enough after all the nerfs.

You need unga in this game or you need to be on a totally and completely different level of fundamental skill to beat the best with chun. He’s on that level which is why he gets so many top 8’s, but once he gets to top 8 caliber players using better characters, he can’t outskill them anymore and Chun just dies.

She needs hasanshu back for sure, and maybe even a CC st.hp like guiles st.hp so that maybe she can stand a chance.

As it is her tick throw is bad, she has no unga/approach, her offensive buttons aren’t quite good enough and her fireball is extremely bad.

Shit, they still haven’t fixed the fact that she can’t get full damage on her ex sbk as an AA against most jumpins.

I still think she has merit, but you have to play like a god to beat mere mortals.

Pretty much every chun I’ve fought even those much higher ranked than me I’ve beaten with almost nothing but fireballs… fucking pathetic.

;_;

you were the chosen one MOV, you were to be the one to take Chun to the promise land. Welp I’ll at least still cheer for him whoever he picks next. At least he changes character with class.

Unlike Itazan.

It’s because the hair at your hairline is finer and usually grows together in a specific direction. Unless the doctor is a perfectionist in his choice of hairs and how they are transplanted, you will end up with hairs at the hairline that look like pubes in all sorts of directions.

i have no idea how to deal with fang
when he puts smoke down i dont know what to do lol

As much as I like everything else about DBFZ, I feel like the combo system is designed to make you worse at fighting games.

I mean it is twitter so it’s a big thing for propaganda, but signs are telling since we haven’t heard anything about him getting rid of her until now.

Ibuki was his main in IV and she’s his side character in V so that’s an option. Chun got some nice things, but I would not be maining Chun in eSports SFV. I agree with that. The bad match ups are too rough to work on sticking out and still isn’t unga enough

holy shit fighting fang as kolin is a fucking nightmare

He has no answer once you get in his face. If he V-Reversals, then throw. Same for his comman slides.

Careful what you wish for.

Like a day ago twitter said chun is back. Now the best chun is dropping her.

I think he should just wait for the remaining over the top unga to get checked in 3.5. Seems a little premature imo.
