VT 1 being 2 bars has it’s benefits but overall i consider it’s 3 bar version to be superior.

You can argue that you get to use it twice in theory,however a vtrigger is designed to close a round not to be used twice around hoping you get the kill,and that’s why i personally think the 3 bar version is superior.

Having that said, i am glad Infiltration won with Juri. He won because he is a very skilled player ,not because S3 made Juri much better.

I think what this tournament have showed is that you pretty much cant play a solo character in SF5 anymore.

This top 8 was nothing but lopsided MUs.except perhaps the GF. Maybe that is what to be expected when characters like Menat/Abigail/Zangief/ Guile are there over the more rounded characters but i dont find that to be a good sign.

Lopsided match-ups are always gonna be a thing if you want a varied cast of characters. Nothing new.

Up to the players to learn the nuances of each match-up and adapt accordingly. If they have to pick a secondary to deal with a situation, then that’s what happens.
