John did the common fault of a rushdown player, trying to force his way in. When your opponent doesn’t seems interested at fight back but instead loves to keep away and mash when is needed, then… It’s over. He would have slowing himself instead of rushing his head against Infiltration pokes. Takeuchi knows Infiltration play, so he can blame only himself for this loss.

Now Juri wins Evo, weebs are all over the streets dancing.

Juri was basically an assist, but she came out at a good time. Sitting on s.mk and lk fireball can be tough if you can do it long enough to survive the unga. Would like to see what a real optimized Infil Juri would be, but that would just be time taken away from Menat any way.

If people really played Juri I think itd be easier to see that she has to play very carefully vs Rashid, but she does have an ex dp which Menat does not

Chun getting blown up sucked, but at least Abigail won’t take the nerf gun

Definitely the best set of this top 8 was between Daigo vs Tokido, hands down. John is even too clean for a Rashid player, Infiltration played with his mind fortitude. Still don’t think Infiltration can win again with Juri, but the latter looks like a nice sidekick for his Menat. Anyway whoever want to beat Infiltration needs to bypass his extreme turtle style first, the throw loops nerf definitely strengthen his game.
