I don’t think Punk worked on that. Then get closer to Abi is dangerous, he has so much range coupled with abnormal hurtboxes. Also I doubt Punk put too much efforts in learning the Abigail MU at all. Others players already figured out Punk gameplay, he need to adjust. He mentioned on Twitter about not being able to abuse of cr.mk reach like before, but I don’t think on a stealth nerf to Karin. If he wants to stick with Chun and Karin he definitely need to adjust to a meta where unga it’s more important now or find a tournament counterpick vs big boys.
On a sidenote I think most players are afraid about armor moves in a game where you haven’t a quick armor break move outside CA for big part of the cast.

I try to anticipate the Akumas I play with pre emptive jump normals but they tend to throw the fireball super early ina tiger knee and I always end up losing the exchange. I have about 5-6 Akumas out here that I run into constantly in my casual matches and all of them I could beat at first but as they’ve gotten better with the character and with their fireball spacing and stuff it’s gotten much harder. It’s all because of the damn airfireball.
One of em has a trick that he always gets me with:
Normal xx ex demonflip k. I always try to block this crossup naturally expecting the empty crossup low or high palm. The grab can sometimes hit me but not often with the way I fuzzy I guess. But the stupid demonflip K always gets me as a non crossup and because there’s a million other things to look out for like tick throws and staggers the demonflip always takes me by surprise and I default to my autopilot blocking or crouch jab AA and get hit by the stupid demonflip K since it beats cr.lp and crossup low block.

You don’t understand do you? Capcom buffed Abby so that people complain about him instead of the true enemy of the FGC, Laura Matsuda. Abigail is nothing more than an oversized distraction.
Leave Abby alone and remember your enemy’s name well.
Yeah I’ll command dash under if i have to, but air fireball/demon flip isn’t as good or immediately threatening as EX DR which is the only aerial move i usually command dash vs. I just use my walk speed to stay close to him and it makes it easier to catch any early attempts to air fireball or just walk under him. Every once in a while I’ll do HK DP to meet him up there before he throws it

He’s pretty interesting. A bit too edgy for my taste but his gameplay has me looking at him. A safe meterless buffer, fireball feint, actual active frames on a few of his buttons.
Doesn’t his VS armor break too?
Not only breaks but leaves him plus afterwards but I have yet to find setups

I’m talking about stuff like super motions needing to be done super fast
You can do those slower now so needing an arcade stick for faster joystick motion isn’t an issue

I think Ed is stronger this season in terms of MUs.
Somehow the neutral feels more deliberate and manageable.

I watched that last night. Very insightful. Basically if you get beat by AA jab now, it’s because you had poor jump timing. Side note, I really like how much better medium and heavy AA’s feel thus far. D+HP with Alex is so much better now.

Why can’t I settle on a secondary
Sakura feels good but I don’t feel like she covers Ed very well, doesn’t seem like she’d win in the situations Ed doesn’t do so hot in
Juri feels good now but I hate how little damage she does (and is even worse now with the VTC scaling nerf)
Menat’s alright but I hate how bad her defense is and how poor her damage conversion is without V-trigger
Cammy is basically in the same spot as Sakura
I’m glad Ed is in the game otherwise I’d be completely lost right now
I’m leaning towards pushing through with Juri though
At the very least I hope Falke solves all my problems
