People had to come see what happened after I punched my desk as hard as I could.
Fucking Ryus jumping back and throwing plasma and fucking Abigail jump arc being how it is. I never have an easy battle against those type of players. Back to Mika.
Jedah can’t fight Hawkeye that well. He needs room to throw out his pinwheels to actually lock people down and apply neutral. Otherwise he’s basically a worse version of Morrigan in neutral with no dp type move or invincible super to back people off of you. He only has one real useful special move while Morriagn has a lot more useful specials, more utility supers and better defense in general. He has better overall mix up than her and can lock down better, but doesn’t matter that much when you run into matchups where you literally can’t do anything safely.
Coon can stall Hawkeye from landing any damage from a range, but Hawkeye throwing shit all over the screen sets up room for the tagged in character to go in. Whereas Jedah can’t really do much to set up Coon to go in vs Hawkeye. I said from the beginning that Hawkeye was going to be strong because he’s just a walking field of assists for a rushdown character to go in with.
On the bright side (or not), the back of my neck is hurting even more now. I guess it is indeed related to blood pressure.
EDIT: It is crazy how yesterday I was loving to play the game, but today, my free day, after I slept to my hearts content, it only took two matches for me to explode. I guess how I feel is more like a russian roulette than what happened during the day.
You’ll remember soon. The game works perfectly for him. In Marvel 3, he was best for having one of his moves be used as an assist. In Infinite you can turn all of his really good arrows into assists for another character. The game does a great job of letting you use what you want to use to assist another character than just being restricted to what the game selects you to assist with. That alone makes Hawkeye a huge deal in this game.
Gimlet super tag is basically one meter meter super XFC into tagged character.
Funny enough Spencer might have a shot of being as good as he was in Marvel 3 or possibly even slightly better. Has the only 3 frame move in the game AFAIK that isn’t a throw and has good health for how suffocating his pressure is. Now that you can’t chicken block mid/high attacks that makes his mix up brain dead good. His overhead can kill low block and jumping away at the same time.
