Apparently she lost vanity into hail storm frame kill set ups, which was a big part of her gameplay. I’ve never seen them to be honest. It’s the vskill nerf that people are freaking out about. Other then that, she should actually be the same or move up since the other characters are being nerfed.

I think ice moves also freeze on VT2.

Getting corner carry full screen on block is extremely good for 2 bar vt
Especially in sfv where corner means imminent death unless you’re rashid
It’s even better when you get 3 free strings if they’re already in the corner

I’ve had two different people rage quit on me in battle lounges in the last couple weeks, but both times they were using Birdie. One was a Plat who appears to be a known rage quitter, and the other was a Silver who was actually beating me, then pulled the plug the second I took a match.

By the way upon reviewing the leaked patch notes over and over I started realizing something:
Unless some VT2 turn out to be surprisingly good the relative “ranking” of the character are not gonna change much. It doesn’t seem like anyone has been buffed or nerfed much. Am I wrong?

From what I’ve seen a lot of people think chuns vt2 is better than her first one. Coolkid was also saying that rashids vt2 will be better than his first one too. Some might make a difference in certain matchups too, like Abigail’s vt2 vs. guile.

Part of the reason they probably feel that about Chun is her VT1 got nerfed into the ground in Season 2 with a really short timer. Chun does not have the pressure anymore fot a timer thats as short as it is now. They’re buffing the timer back up for VT1 in AE so it’ll likely be a bit more ambiguous which one is better to use. VT1 if it has the old timer will be pretty strong again. Especially now that she has a legit CC, she should be almost at a VT1 with any landed counter hit fhk

People don’t genuinely want to be challenged or get better.

Also something im guilty of is blaming “bullshit” for losing. I personally have to fight the urge to say “all he did was jump” or “all he did was this, or that” or whatever you define as scrubby when its your own fault for letting “bullshit” beat you.

So its all good when you’re losing in a lounge but as soon as you win the guy probably goes “That was bullshit. All he did was blah blah…”, and he dips.

So the qanba obsidian has a switch to go from PS4 to PS3 to PC.
The HORI Hayabusa pro N seem to have nothing of sort. It only says it supports PC trough Xinput.
I went around and tried to understand what the Fuck Xinput is, and I failed miserably. Seems to just be the protocol used to emulate Xbox controllers by windows. What I couldn’t find out is if it has any drawbacks like extra input lag and if it will work with stuff like guilty gear Xrd which I remember not recognising any controller that is not Xbox for local multiplayer. 'Cause the RAP is slightly cheaper and I am kinda want to try HORI parts, bit I’d rather have something that works correctly on PC as well since that’s what I use at home

XBOX controllers are what made Microsoft build the xinput api.
So if your stick uses xinput, it will be recognized as a XBOX controller by Windows.

From my understanding the overall frames have increased but she back steps further away. I know that personally I’ll LK Vanity to try to bait my opponent but if you do that from close range, not only will it get beaten by throws but pretty much any normal will hit her out of it. So that could possibly be a buff despite it going from 34 to 43 frames. If it puts her far enough way, she may actually be able to get more punishes with Silver Edge.
