It doesn’t help that the thread starter is hazy on the details of prizes, dates and setups. Don’t start a new thread for a tournament (of all things) based purely on speculation (ie: all this “a friend of a friend told me…” nonsense).

First off dude. i give you details as I heard them.
This is a community if you hear about a tourney would you not inform them of it eariler then later, especially since i heared of it date of posting… so that would lead to it being on a short notice.
Then as more details came in I updated the thread.
And the a friend of a friend is not nonsense, as it was a friend that worked in the particular theatre that holds it.
But really a join date, does that make any differance at all? Do you think your better then some one based on their join date?

You began by starting a thread promoting a tournament but failed to provide concrete key details (date, time, fees, etc). Being a director myself, I find that extremely annoying but I let it slide and try to help you out in my reply (post #2).
You make an attempt to respond but your replies are riddled with ambiguity:
Next you made the biggest mistake by announcing that the prize will be a TE stick (which pretty much is considered a commodity, not a joystick) and then taking it away because you were an idiot and failed to confirm it 100% beforehand.
Also,
Posting the details “as you hear them” is how you write a gossip column. Not how to start a new thread promoting a tournament. And it has become evident that you are unable to write coherently so I am not too sure what you are trying to accomplish anymore.
You need to take a step back and seriously take a look at what you are doing. Are you aware of how retarded you are being???
Yeah I am looking forward to it. Based on your posts and what others have said, you and Russell have your shit together and know what it takes to run a tournament well. I wish OTHERS in the GTASF community would take tips from you on how to make a new startup tournament successful.

If your friend wants to have his tournament promoted, tell to get an account himself and post the thread once he has concrete details. Otherwise it’s just a waste of everyone’s time. You have to remember, people are going to be making sure that day is free ahead of time, which might even involve booking off work etc. Not to mention it’s a long drive for people not living in Mississauga. Changing details as you go along is not cool. I defended you earlier on, but come on man; don’t post for someone else.
First off, If you wanted to know the details you could call and ask yourself. Im not your mother, im not promoting a tourney, I’m letting you know when and where one will take place, and what I heared are the rumoured prize’s and entrance fee.
If you wanted to know more info you could pick up the phone and call them and confirm the details, or ask for information.
Why would I confirm something 100% you got a phone? well you can learn to use it.
Are you aware I’m not trying to promote a tournament? Im mearly presenting information for people to be aware of a tourney, Ill give all the information I posses if you wish to confirm it you should call them and ask.
Which i stated in my post’s multiple times, call them and ask if your interested to know.

I’m not trying to promote for them im just telling you the community that there is a tourney on that date, then I provided the community with all the info I had.
Im not here to spoon feed you the info, I gave you enough information that you could get concreate answer’s on your own. Its not my tourney I dont give a shit if you go there or somewhere else, if you do not wish to take any effort to confirm the details thats not my problem.
If this was my tourney would I provide solid details, yes. Is this? no. So I really dont give a shit if you go or not thats your choice.
Then don’t create a thread about it? Drop a post in the Mississauga thread, and that’s all you need to do. When you created the thread, you basically took the responsibility of giving us accurate, relevant information. If you don’t have the info, don’t create the thread.
Otherwise we’d have 100 new threads pop up;
“There MIGHT be a tournament at this place, with prizes that MIGHT be given out! Be sure to show up!”
