Um, Marvel gave them the ok, remember? They say so at NY comic-con. It’s why they finally showed the alts there. They also sad marvel gave them the ok when they showed the alt colors for the first time.
Deadpool has an alt color with Deathstrokes colors.
So Jen with red skin would not be surprising. Iron Man also has a War Machine looking alt color too.
The way I understood it was that Marvel didn’t give a blanket OK to alternate costumes, but rather they have to approve each one on an individual basis.

Btw, did you see the range on her twirly lv1 grab? What’s stopping her from using that after a KO and nabbing the incoming character with it? Let’s not forget that it seems to cause a wall bounce, meaning that she’s going to be able to follow up with command run > slide > whatever.
Range is deceptive. So far the only time we’ve seen it done really was against Arthur when she was relatively close. Her trailer was edited.

That,his X-Men uniform in 616, and Deathstroke all sport the same colors really. Call it what you want. I’m inclined to say they based it from his X-Men uniform, because nodding to him being a Deathstroke rip off is not as likely.
Plus Deathstroke was more of an orange than yellow IIRC.
