Trish Peekaboo & MODOK Analyze Cube will nullify any off the wall mixup she has. Especially if thats her quickest means of getting around the stage. God knows a grappler with no airdash and superarmor is going to be a cackle in MvC3.

All issue of haters aside, I think she could be a lot more decent to play than a lot of people give her credit for. Bear in mind two important things we DON’T know about Shulkie yet:

1. We haven’t seen her get hit yet. We don’t know what kind of super armor tools and health reservoir she has to play with.
2. We haven’t seen her using any assists yet. Being able to command run/wall jump with the right assist could, if not significantly expand her pressure, then at least cover a lot of its holes.

It’s way too early to declare her moveset a hit or a miss. Once we see how she synergizes with assists and meter, then there’ll be a much clearer picture of what she can and can’t do.

I’d be very surprised if she has anything lower than average stamina. Going by comic lore, she should have high stamina but Capcom sometimes need to throw lore out of the window for balance purposes. Still though I think she’ll be in the average to above average area at least. As for super armor? Perhaps her run will have it? It’s likely we wont know more until a full match video of her’s is posted, or Seth does a character walk through.

Couple things that will be interesting to see:

1. If her running low is an option for her assists. Overhead mixups (or unblockables?) anyone?

2. Any character with an overhead assist being used as a mixup with her running low.

3. As mentioned, assist combo opportunities after landing her anti air throw (which leads into a stun)

From the video it’s seems she has a super throw, anti-air super throw, and the standard auto combo super. However the last super in the video was NOT an extension of the previous combo. Capcom did some editing there.

I’m not too convinced about her doing high damage yet, since every opponent in the video has already been reported to have low stamina.

Errrr maybe I’m missing something but she seems to have only two options from her run: the low punch and the clothesline. I’m assuming the clothesline is not an overhead, so is there any reason for an opponent to stand and block when she runs? Hopefully an overhead assist will keep them honest…

Not necessarily. Remember Trish’s Peekaboo goes away when she’s hit. Having Doom behind her takes away some of the danger of Peekaboo.

Just based on mobility its gonna be hard for Shulk to really force her way in. Hulk has that super armor that keeps him from being Thor.

It’s already confirmed that X-23 can do the same, would not be too surprised

I don’t think it’s as huge as you think, if you’re referencing the part where Jenny just destroys Arthur in her trailer. Arthur has terrible stamina – he lost a ton of health in the NYCC gameplay vid when Spidey did just a simple little ground to air string on him.

Yea I do think her animations needs much more work, especially the run animation. I was underwhelmed with Magneto’s animations as well. However it’s still a work in progress so I’m sure they’ll be improved come release.
