Yeah this whole, “The Wii version doesn’t have the space to handle it whereas the PS3 version does, but we decide to exclude it in the PS3 version so that the people who own the Wii version won’t get their feelings hurt and it’ll be fair” bullshit pissed me off. It’s also why we didn’t get the Japanese voices as well.

It died really soon after it came out. It was incredibly broken, maybe moreso then HnK but then HnK has a huge fanbase that doesn’t give a shit if it’s broken lol

IIRC, a niche amount of people in Japan still play it in arcades. There’s at least a small tournament or two for SBX each week.

Yeah, and they care ALOT, that’s why there’s 6, going on 7 games, 2 anime series, a movie, and tons of merch. It really just shows that most of America doesn’t care so Capcom doesn’t really care about the few of us that do. Japan doesn’t even really need online play like we do.

Ugh, how the fuck can I get hype for this game, when we’re not getting it. If news of Matsu and/or Hideyoshi come to light, that’ll only make me depressed even more. If the reason why Capcom’s not bringing this game over here is because SBSH didn’t sold well then they only have themselves to blame, they didn’t even do much to advertise it. Just get it the JP version, it’s not like you need to understand JP to play it, and it’s region free anyway. Plus this way you get the JP voice actors too. That’s what I did.
Yeah but you have to admit, there’s something about menus and dialogue being in your own native language and not having to start your SBSH progress all over from scratch that would make news of SB3U being localized here so comforting.
But yeah Japanese voice actors is a plus though.

To be honest, they were honestly good once you got used to it with the exception of Kenshin and the fact that Capcom didn’t give a shit for the horrible lip sync which shows how much work they put into the localization. Hearing JYB voice SB Yukimura as well was interesting, Date as Dante was sick as hell, Matsu’s English VA was cute, etc.
dubs are like cats fucking, nobody wants to hear that bruh but anyone can get used to it.
